[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was on the hunt for a new mattress when Tempur-Pedic sent me this one for free in exchange for an honest review. My husband and I both prefer a soft mattress and we were excited to give this one a shot. It did not disappoint! While it seemed fairly firm at first, it relaxed over a couple of days to become super cozy while still being supportive. (It also took a couple of days to lose the factory scent, but it was never too bad and I just left the window open the first day.) When you lie down, your body slowly sinks into the foam top until you are perfectly supported. I sleep on my stomach and my husband sleeps on his back and we are both feeling fresh in the mornings. We have been sleeping on this mattress for a couple of weeks and we are pretty happy. My one gripe is that the top is very smooth and my sheets will occasionally slip right off over the corners, but it's not an issue I would deduct any stars for. Fresh sheets feel nice and crisp over the smooth surface. It's very warm out but the mattress seems to stay fairly cool. If you like a soft bed, give this one a shot!

I have only had the mattress just under a month, but I am enjoying it greatly. At first, it took some time to get use to the firmness and how it molded around my body as I slept. After a few nights I really appreciate the comfort it provides and how it has helped with my back issues. The product is of the highest quality and sometimes you have to realize that you have to pay a little more for something that will help you as it has myself. It is worth the money to be able to sleep and not wake up stiff and sore. I would highly recommend this mattress to anyone with back problems.

The delivery was tailored to our schedule, went very smoothly, and the gentlemen were very careful with the new product as well as with the discarded mattress. We love the mattress and had no trouble adjusting to the firmness from day one.

I have purchased way too mattresses in the past 10 years, searching for a good nights sleep. Finally, Tempurpedic Proadapt Firm mattress has given me reliably great rest every single night. Each night I go to bed and I think the mattress might be too hard for me, as I seem to lie on top of it rather than in it, however that thought lasts about 5-10 minutes and next I know, I'm waking up 8 hours later with no shoulder/ hip/ back pain. I also purchased the Adapt Prolo+cooling pillow and that, too, is a game changer for me ...no more neck pain. This purchase has genuinely changed my life for the better. No more Ibuprofen, no more Acetaminophen. I hope that everyone can find the relief I am enjoying.

The soft is soft yet firm. It's very very comfortable. I had the firm but it was to firm for me. I tried the medium and the hybrid and they just didn't work for me but when I tried the soft I could tell right away this is the one. Ever since it's like I have been sleeping on a cloud.

We love our Tempurpedic-Pro Adapt Firm mattress. The first night we laid down in it and tried it we thought....oh no, we shouldn't have gotten the firm version, it's too hard!. But within a few seconds, the mattress perfectly envelopes your back and hips for a restful and supported night's sleep. This performance by the mattress has continued every night since without disappointment. I love how I can't feel my husband get in or out of bed or toss and turn....we both bought the Tempurpedic Cool Breeze PIllows that were offered as a BOGO deal with the paperwork that was delivered with the mattress. Finally, the mattress fit perfectly on our existing frame and we always have the option to purchase the adjustable base in the future. Thank you Tempurpedic!

Fell in love with this bed. Helps provide relief for my bulging L4 L5 disc in my back. Also has helped me to stay in REM sleep longer than before. Oddly enough I've become a back sleep when I was a habitual side sleeper. If we ever need a new mattress, we'll definitely be getting a tempurpedic.

I love the feel of the bed but it's too hot. I had to use a mattress pad to give me an extra layer between myself and the bed. It did change the feel of the mattress a little, it's firmer but that's ok. I'll sleep on it a few years and I'll probably get something else. I won't get a memory foam bed again.

This mattress gives the support with the comfort needed when arms and shoulders hurt from sleeping on your side. It does not completely cure all of the hurting , but it is better than the Serta I comfort mattress we had been sleeping on the last five years. It is soft with a firm under lay that keeps you on a level plain. I didn't think it would be better than what we had, but I was wrong. This mattress has improved my night sleep. I've had my Pro-Adapt Soft mattress for nearly 6 weeks, and I'm still just sleeping on top of it. It's not conforming to my body at all. I tried walking on it daily to break it in more quickly, but that didn't seem to make a difference. My shoulders get sore when I sleep on my sides, and my back hurts in the morning. I would definitely say it's not worth the cost.
