I bought this bed because I was having major issues with back pain making it difficult to get out of bed in the morning - I opted to go with a firm mattress because this is what my mom had and it seemed to help her. My first night on this bed, it was so much firmer than anything else I had ever slept on before that I thought I had made a huge mistake in purchasing such a firm mattress. By the fourth night, I knew I had purchased the most perfect mattress for me! I am waking with much less back pain now and seem to be sleeping better too. Thank you Tempur-pedic

We absolutely love the hybrid pro adapt from the cooling feature to the comfort of a coil and memory foam mattress. This mattress we have been in love with now for 5 months and cant wait for many more awesome sleep nights! We just cant wait to go to bed at night. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As mentioned in the other reviews, if you want something that is in the medium side, you have to buy the soft version. It will feel a bit firm when new but will eventually break in. With the Tempurpedic protector, I don't fee the cooling properties much. In warm nights, I wake up sweating and had to change my shirt a couple of times in several occurrences. I am not overweight or have health conditions. Just saying. Overall a great purchase. You will appreciate it more when sleeping elsewhere for a couple of days, and coming home to your Tempurpedic! Don't settle for less.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this product along with the adjustable base for health reasons, it has made all the difference in being able to incline the feet and or head of just one side at a time as we both have different needs. At first I thought the firm was going to be too firm and hard for me but the more we sleep on it the more I have gotten used to the product. If you prefer a firm mattress I would definitely recommend this mattress. The firmness of this mattress makes it easy to get in and out of the bed...no sinking.

I was expecting to really have fabulous sleep the first week I had the product. It has taken about a month to really have a full nights rest. I do like the fact that when you move on the bed there is no noise so getting up in the morning before your significant other allows him/her to sleep. I keep receiving emails regarding purchasing pillows for a better sleep. If a pillow is needed to help the mattress give.a better sleep it would be nice to get two pillows free with such an expensive mattress.

Took a lot of time deciding on a new mattress as they are not cheap... Spend the money! Tempurpedic is a life saver for me and I will never be able to go back to a regular mattress ever. I adjusted to the difference the first week. I used to wake up through out the night with back pain and arm pain as I am a stomach sleeper and never could get comfortable on my old mattress which was a very good quality mattress as well but never could get through the night on it without waking up in pain of some sort... Thinking I am just getting old! Tempurpedic has changed my life.. Seriously. I wake up ready to go and no more aches and pains... Worth every penny!

I've had some awesome night sleeps in this bed no more pins and needles feeling when sleeping on my side anymore. Also even just as comfortable sleeping on my back and the best part I keep cool throughout the night no more waking up in sweaty sheets. Thanks Tempur-pedic!

I had a 20+ year old mattress and really needed a new one because I was having problems with my back. I have been on the road to wellness and getting a new mattress was part of that process. The first 2 weeks of having the new mattress, my hips were stiff but now that it was been almost a month, I have adjusted! I sleep great and seriously, hard to get up in the morning because it is so comfortable. Pricey but in the long run, worth it!

This mattress (as well as the pillows) is quite comfortable and we both seem to be sleeping better since this purchase. This is our first experience with an adjustable bed frame and we like it very much. The product(s) also provides some relief for my bad back.
