The firmness of the ProAdapt is taking some getting used to, but it is getting much better. My husband is sleeping better than he has in years. He has back issues and has not been able to stay in bed all night, but that has changed with this Tempur-Pedic mattress. Highly recommend it!

When the mattress arrived after the first night, they raved about how the mattress helped them sleep better, their backs were no longer aching and also that the mattress was so great that they didn't want to get up in the morning for work. Before I got this bed, I woke up several times an hour every hour. Now I sleep soundly through the night. I have terrible back pain, which was our primary reason for buying this bed. When I lay on my bed, my back pain is gone! Best bed I have ever bought.

So far I am satisfied with my mattress. I am hoping that the mattress will soften up somewhat more after it breaks in. I does retain a little body heat. I'm hoping that will not be an issue this summer. Overall, I am happy with my mattress and would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best Mattress me and my wife has ever had! Supports and cradles to our body's. Excellent memory foam, no more back aches or neck aches. We sleep through the night without waking each other up when one of us turns over in their sleep we can't feel it because of the density if the foam. Which let's us know how much quality the mattress has been made with. Attention to detail in every aspect! We bought the mattress at a very reasonable price.

After my husband fell and fractured his pelvis our current mattress was too soft. Our sales person recommended the firm Pro-Adapt and it was amazing. SOLD! We also purchased the adjustable base for the mattress which we highly recommend. The first night with the mattress and base we slept 9 hours! The base has done wonders to keep my husband from snoring.

I had a salesman that apparently wasn't very knowledgeable. I have a really bad back and wasn't sure if I needed a medium or firm mattress. He had me lay on a firm lux breeze and it felt really good on my back. He said they lay the same. I've had mine for 3 weeks now I have slept on it maybe 3 hours. I went to a recliner first night on it. It was so hard I don't feel like I even made a indition on it. I can not sleep on it. But yet I have to keep it 30 days before I can return it. I've talked with several sales people but they all tell me they are talking to the manager and will call me back. I haven't received the first call back yet. He also had me lay on the smart ergo base with the wave massage I was so excited to be getting that base. Yet he ordered and they brought us out the base with only one massage motor. So it just kind of vibrates. I also called about this and I was told I can't return the base. I'm very very disappointed in Tempura pedic this was my dream to be able to actually afford one of these beds. But I will never again deal with this company. It could of just been a bad salesman but after calling for 3 weeks now. And not one call back from anyone not even the manager. I've had it with the entire transaction. If I can return it all including the base as well. I will purchase something else. Disappointed in Ky.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time Tempurpedic owner. I wasn't sure I wanted to go away from a traditional spring mattress. Enter the Hybrid. Lower back pain is gone. I don't wake up stiff anymore. If I stay anywhere else I miss this bed and can't wait to get home.

My husband prefers a firmer mattress than I do, so being able to customize our mattress comfort was a positive thing. He loves his firm mattress as much as I love my medium. We both do a lot less tossing and turning due to the supportiveness of these mattress, so we are getting a better nights rest.

We purchased a King Tempur-ProAdapt in firm. After seven months, we wish we could undo this purchase. Our previous two mattresses were both firm, traditional independent coil. This would be our first memory foam mattress. Neither my wife nor I sleep consistently well on the Tempur-Pedic. This mattress chases you off it - I literally find myself getting out of bed in the morning because I can no longer stand the discomfort my body is feeling, specifically, pain through my pelvis and hip region as well as sore shoulders and numb arms. The hip and pelvis pain is with me continually and the sad part is I have learned to live with it. Recently, a second seven day vacation away from our Tempur-Pedic, I realized my hip/pelvis and shoulders stop hurting within a day or two. I spoke with Tempur-Pedic, but their response was to keep the room cool and to consider purchasing their mattress topper which would *maybe* help soften things up. I never stated this mattress is too firm, there is more to it than that. This mattress brought pain my mid-40's body has never felt. Read reviews and if you're having problems early on, react immediately, we're stuck with this thing now and we'll have to absorb a second mattress purchase in under a year. They claim their customer service is so great, why not try to help someone and send them a mattress topper after they just spent thousands on your product and are now afraid to use it.
