Have had the mattress set for a couple of months & there was no breaking it in. We love it. It's so comfortable, gives good support & no sagging. I'm a side and back sleeper and my husband is a stomach sleeper and neither of us have had any issues with comfort or support. Hybrid is the way to go. I wish it had handles on the side, but we understand there's no need to rotate it.

We have waited a long time to buy a tempurpedic, mainly because of cost after years of a spring mattress that didn't last that long and many back aches I pulled the trigger. We tried every memory foam mattress we could at the stores and didn't find anything like our temper adapt medium. No more back pain for me! Only one complaint. The cover is slippery so sheets don't stay put. Still have to find a solution for that one

Been a bit disappointed in my temperpedic. I feel this isn't a good bed for folks who sleep in there stomach. I sometimes wake up with lower back pain because the temperpedic medium I own is too soft and doesn't support me enough to when laying on my stomach. If it mattered I'm 6'3" 195lbs. I would highly consider getting the firm version of you are a stomach sleeper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the TEMPUR-Adapt Medium Hybrid mattress for a few weeks now, and it has been a total game changer! I can say the quality of my and my husband's sleep has truly increased. We selected the medium support mattress and have no regrets at all! We absolutely love it! It provides the perfect balance between semi-firm support and plush comfort, which we totally love because it truly combines the best of both worlds. We don't feel like we're laying down on a wooden plank or about to sink into a pile of cotton, the balance is simply amazing. We have also been enjoying the cool to touch technology and now I have actually been able to sleep through most of the night since I'm not tossing and turning due to heat uncomfortability. And last but not least, the pressure relief comfort layer has helped ease so much of the back pain, along with other aches and discomforts that we had been dealing with on a nightly basis. The tightness and aches that I have been experiencing! I'm been dealing with a lot of tightness, especially on my back and around my hips ( I'm 4 months postpartum), and these have definitely improved since I started sleeping on our Tempur-Pedic mattress. We highly recommend getting one and can definitely see ourselves purchasing some of these mattresses for our little ones in the future! We bought this mattress to go on our guest room bed. Our mail level air-conditioning went out and was to be a week before could be replaced. Upstairs has it's own AC system, so we slept in the guest room. What a delight! I would recommend this mattress to anyone over the spring mattresses of the old days,

Unfortunately I purchased mine for Mattress Firm and under the salesman's direction I also bought a pillow. Tried it for a week and didn't like it and to my surprise they wouldn't do anything to help. They said no returns on pillows, sheets and mattress protectors. It was in perfect condition and he wouldn't even look at it. They he said I will sell you another one! I don't think so buddy Good mattress, not so good store!

We bought this mattress to replace a bulky pillow top mattress with a large indentation on my side of the bed. I really like the way this mattress takes its shape back when I'm out of it. Also I thought it may help with my lower back pain when getting out of bed. Unfortunately it's not the case the back pain is still there. Not the fault of the mattress. Temperpedic is a great mattress.

We thought the pillow-top was just fine but often struggled with back, hip, and shoulder pain as we grew older and routinely lifted our ever-growing toddler. Recently we upgraded from a queen to a king size bed and decided to splurge on a Tempur-Pedic mattress. We will never go back. I used to be awoken by my husband tossing and turning - but not with the Tempur-Pedic! I never ever realized how disrupted my sleep was until I was able to sleep soundly. Also, the back, hip, and shoulder pain I mentioned; markedly decreased. The Tempur-Pedic wraps your body and alleviates the stresses of the day. Now when I travel and have to suffer with a normal hotel mattress, I miss home. We love this mattress so much we are gifting my parents a 3 inch Tempur-Pedic mattress topper for Christmas!
