[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My spouse bought me a Tempur-Pedic mattress many years ago. We loved it. As it began to age, so did my back. We looked at a new Tempur-Pedic but the price was daunting for us. So I decided to look at other mattress companies. After researching the top ten recommended, I decided to do the "test sleep" offer. When the first mattress test didn't work out, we tested a second, and a third and a fourth. Each of them had good quality customer service, as does Tempur-Pedic. Each had fine shipping and delivery, as does Tempur-Pedic. Each of the mattresses had desired features of quality, comfort and support, as does Tempur-Pedic. On each one I was able to fall asleep within minutes of laying down. However, with each one I still woke up with back and hip pain. So we decided to pony up and purchase a Tempur-Pedic mattress. No regrets. It has been terrific. We both sleep well and I wake up with no pain.

The bed seems similar to the one we replaced. We had a Tempur-pedic Classic. The deliver went pretty well. However, if you are replacing an old bed, the delivery people should make sure the frame fits the new bed correctly. It does tend to be warm. However, it is not too warm. I just use less covers. It seems comfortable and I can only hope that it does not start sinking like the old one did. The new 10 year warranty is half of what the old ones had. The pillows we got are very nice. The down one is not hard like some of the other memory foam ones are. The cooling one seems to work well for my better half. She seems to like it. Only time will tell. As to warranty, the tags should have been placed either at the foot or on the side. To have to look at information at the head of the bed seems strange. Also, the corners of the foundation say to remove them. However, the delivery people did not remove them.

My only complaint is not having bought this bed sooner. The bed is initially fairly stiff, however after 3-4 weeks it is breaking in very nicely. Actually I have a second complaint, and I hope that it finds tempurpedic employees. While I understand the importance of a mattress protector, it's moderately annoying to have one placed on top of the bed that moves around. You already have a cover that zips on the bed, why not make a protective cover that zips on to the bed? Even if it cost $250 I would buy it in a heart beat to avoid my current cover slipping on the bed every night.

I started out with the Pro Adapt..medium,but after a few weeks, I just didn't care for the very hard feeling top and I couldn't sit on the bed without sinking too far. The top didn't give any unless you put pressure on it. It may be better for someone heavier. I weigh about 150 lbs. and am 5'6". I exchanged it for the Adapt Hybrid. Oh my goodness!! It is perfect for me! It has the softer layer in the top and cuddles you gently without sinking in too far!! I can also sleep all the way to the edge and sit on the edge without it going down too far. Feels like I'm on a cloud! I'm also a sleeper that likes to be on my back sometimes and on my side sometimes. I can't wait to get in it every night!! Perfect!!

I have found the mattress to be firmer than the one in the show room, making me wonder if it will become as comfortable as that one was. Hips and shoulders are less tight, but still feeling some of that after sleeping on my side. I was told it would take a bit of time to soften up a bit, so here's hoping.

I celebrated my retirement by splurging on a Adapt Medium. I had gotten my money's worth out of my old foam mattress and it was time for a change, but this time I was going to do it right. I got an education about mattresses from our locally-owned Mattress Firm in Albuquerque and tried out just about every bed in the store. When I met the Adapt Medium, it was love at first sight and after the friendly salesman introduced me to the Ergo Smart Base, the deal was sealed. Sure, there was a little ticket shock at first, but you get what you pay for in this world and the time we spend sleeping is pretty significant, so why not get one of the best beds made? The company sent two young men to take away my old bed and set up the new one. They were in and out like a flash, but not before they showed me how the base works and answered all my questions. It's been a week now since I bought my Adapt mattress and I love it! Not only do I wake up in the morning feeling bright-eyed, but those aches and pains I've been accustomed to lately have all but disappeared.

We first bought the soft Tempur-Pedic and it was comfortable but a bit too soft for my husband as he had trouble getting out of bed. We brought it back and got the Tempur Adapt Medium Hybrid mattress. We on were on it for quite awhile in the store and thought it was comfortable however after the first night I woke up with my lower back and shoulder hurting. It was worst the second night. My husband thought the mattress was fine. I regret getting it and wish we were able to return it. We have lost a great deal of money on this mattress.

I am a Tempur-Pedic fan for sure! I love the feel and comfort of the Adapt mattress, not too soft but not too firm. This is my second Tempur-Pedic mattress purchase. I lost my home in the California Wildfire and in a pinch I purchased another name brand mattress. Needless to say I was never as happy and missed the comfort that I was used to. I decided that I absolutely must purchase another Tempur-Pedic mattress so I can once again enjoy a restful sleep. I also love the quality of the adjustable base and the quality and softness of your Pima Cotton sheets. Thank you Tempur-Pedic for the quality and comfort you provide in your sleep line!

Just purchased our first Tempur-Pedic bed. Upon entering, every sales associate greeted us. Vince took us to four different mattresses, explaining all with expertise. I did not feel pressured, rather I felt like a guest whose needs were trying to be met with professionalism and accuracy. From there Vince showed us several pillow styles until we found the one that best matched our mattress selection. Finally, Vince turned into Al Buddy as he patiently helped me find a pair of slippers that were both cute and comfortable. Finally, the manager Paul helped with finalizing the transaction, both ensuring that everything was correct and that we were highly satisfied before leaving. I'm very excited to try our new bed but based on the store experience I feel confident we will sleep very well! As for customer service, Vince knocked it out of the park! Thank you for everything gentlemen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i used to love soft mattresses but found that i would wake up with back or hip pain more and more. my wife suggested we try the tempurpedic and i was hesitant as i never thought i was a fan of the memory foam/firm mattress. boy was i wrong! We have had it for 7 months and i am having the best sleeps of my life, i no longer have any pain in the morning and i wake up feeling incredriblely refreshed and rested. Couldnt recommened this bed highly enough
