This mattress has made an incredible difference in my sleep. I've gone from neck, hip and shoulder pain that would interrupt my sleep-Many nights I had to get up- to sleeping through the night. I also purchased the pillows which have helped tremendously. I truly was amazed how my sleep experience has improved. It is also easy to make the bed. There is not one thing I don't like about it. Well worth spending the money.

Pro adapt medium. If you look at the materials they use on the tag you can see they are not quality. I found this out too late after it lost all integrity in about a year or 2. The problem is they don't honor their warrantees since they make them impossible to actually reach. Foam doesn't sag which is what they require for a replacement, but foam will lose all its support so when you lay on it your hips or any heavier area will sag to the bottom. I am only 145 pounds and it took a year for it to be unusuable.... SUPER sketchy company, do not buy.

Unfortunately I purchased mine for Mattress Firm and under the salesman's direction I also bought a pillow. Tried it for a week and didn't like it and to my surprise they wouldn't do anything to help. They said no returns on pillows, sheets and mattress protectors. It was in perfect condition and he wouldn't even look at it. They he said I will sell you another one! I don't think so buddy Good mattress, not so good store!

It was more than time for a new mattress. We went to our local dealer and tried some different models. As soon as we laid on the temper adapt we looked at each other and new tempur was the one. Big difference over the traditional box spring mattresses. We just had to decide which one. The adapt medium was the most comfortable for both of us. Even though we liked the pro adapt firm. Just couldn't spend that much. We slept on it for a week while I researched a new foundation. Decided to get the low profile Tempur foundation. The mattress was good but when we added the proper foundation it made a big difference! We don't wake up with sore stiff backs anymore. Been sleeping on it for a month now. Don't regret our decision.

The adjustable base and the mattress provide the perfect sleep position and comfort. Sleeps a little hot, but other than that no complaints.

ive had this bed just shy of a year on an adjustable base. It's amazing of course. Took some time to get use to the "stuck in mud" feel. But now i wouldn't have it any other way. I really can't dont think it stays cool all night. Just feels cool when you first lay down. A year in i noticed i could feel the springs with my knee when i got into bed. Then i noticed there was a huge 3 foot across T shaped tear in the mattress all the way down to the springs. I never would have expected that to happen in less than a year. They're replacing it but its a hassle, especially during this pandemic. Hopefully this wont happen again.

I purchased this mattress about a month ago. Prior to this I slept on a pillow top mattress for the past I don't even remember how many years. I'm a side sleeper and would constantly switch sides during the night as the arm I was sleeping on would fall asleep. That's gone now from my sleep. I look forward to going to bed. We bought the adjustable base, and the wife likes to raise the head during the night. That cancels my shoulder and arm issue fix. Love it to watch TV though. As I'm typing this, I can't wait to go to bed, Thank you for this!

My prior non-Tempurpedic bed was almost 20 years old (the bed was finally sagging and causing pain in my hips and lower back), so I decided to purchase a Tempurpedic Adapt because of all the great reviews. The bed was extremely uncomfortable when I purchased it - like sleeping on the floor. Never realized foam could be so solid. I spent a lot of time in my recliner those first couple of months, which should have been an indication to return the bed. Even though it would have cost me. I thought to wait it out and it would get better. The bed has helped alleviate my hip pain, but I almost never sleep more than 4-5 hours straight any more cause of the pain in my upper back, shoulders, and neck. The only bed I have slept on that I have never been able to 'sleep in'. Additionally, I find it difficult to roll over and will wake up before rolling over. The bed is well made - it's not a cheaply made foam mattress. Just wish it was comfortable. I know that I could have Spent More Money on an upgraded model that may or may not have been softer. Or I could have paid less for a quality pillowtop (inner spring) from a reputable brand. This bed will soon be going to the guest bedroom - nobody will want to stay very long.

I had always been suspicious of the high price of Tempurpedic mattresses but I've got to admit that they are definitely worth the price. I always used to wake up with a headache and my joints feeling really stiff ever since I was a child. It was also hard just to fall asleep too, it would take me hours of tossing and turning. I have always heard of TempurPedic's reputation and decided to blindly purchase the mattress without testing. I fall asleep easy now and wake up feeling great. Initially it did take me about 3 days to adjust to the mattress material, but now I fall asleep like a baby now and wake up feeling amazing. If you are considering I definitely recommend you go ahead and make your purchase.

We purchased our mattress in December of 2016 and I was excited to try it out. I was hoping that the memory foam would help with my shoulders, low back, etc. My husband didn't have any issues. When we went to the store to check the mattresses out, the salesman made a big deal about us laying down on the mattresses so we could select the one that best fit our needs. Well the Medium firm mattress felt wonderful. And we laid on it for quite a while. We also tried the Soft one and it was very soft and didn't seem to have any support. So after discussing with the salesman, he said that it would probably take 60 days to break in the mattress so that it would be like the one we tried in the store. And if we were not happy with it, we could return it for a different one. Within 30 days, both my husband and I could hardly walk when we got up in the morning. The mattress was so hard. I put a foam pad on it and that helped a little. So we went back to the store to see if we could get a different one. They said we should give it more time and that we should not have added the foam - well they weren't sleeping on the darned thing. They also said we could trade it in for the Soft mattress but it would cost more money. I was really frustrated. The thing already cost us an arm and a leg, I felt we had already paid too much and didn't want to pay more money only to find out the soft one wouldn't work either. They also said that the reason the medium mattress felt so good at the store was because so many people had laid on it, trying it out, so it was broken in really good. So we went home disappointed and feeling like we were ripped off and determined to make the mattress work for us so we didn't have to pay more money to the store. After 90 days, the mattress was still as hard as it had been day 1. So we put the foam pad back on it. It has now been over 2 years and it is still as hard as it was on day 1. And yes, the foam pad is still on there. With the foam pad, we aren't limping out of bed. I firmly believe we were delivered the hard mattress. Lessons learned - (1) it does not help to try out mattress in the store, as they are not what you will receive; (2) don't believe the salesman when he says you can bring it back, there will be a catch; (3) buy a cheaper mattress so you can afford to get another one when the new one doesn't work out. I'm writing this at 1:30 am because I can't sleep, my shoulders are aching from laying on the mattress.
