Mainly I was looking for a non-chemical-smelling mattress, and I first tried a latex version by a different company, which was a wonderful mattress except that my shoulder ached every morning cuz I guess it was too firm. So I returned that one, and tried Tempur-Pedic's Adapt and I've been very happy with it so far. No chemical smells and my shoulder is fine. Yes I recommend this - I'm a 59-yr-old woman, 5'6", 145 pounds.

We slept on the mattress for 33 nights then went to the retailer seeking a refund invoking the 90 refund policy. The mattress is too firm. Both my wife and I slept poorly and got up each morning sore. An exchange for a softer Tempurpedic was going to cost an additional $800 and that became an excessive expense on top of the high price of the original purchase. We chose not to buy it. We are both 60 and of average height and normal weight. The best thing I can say is the refund from the retailer was no hassle.

The mattress is fantastic. I am extremely pleased we went with the King size and the hybrid. We have had a Temper-Pedic mattress before (not hybrid) so we did not need the coils for a "transition" purposes, however we definitely like the feel and comfort. For anyone, size is limited on space... however with little kids this has been a blessing for us! I am not sure why we endured the Queen for so long! It does still sleep hotter than I would like but definitely cooler than previous models (I have night sweats so this may be user specific). I wish there was a better mattress protector cover for cooling though. We love the mattress ... biggest complaint is trying to put the sheets on :)

My wife and I purchased this mattress after finding Tempurpedic mattresses to be far more comfortable and firm to the initial press. My wife tosses and turns at night as a light sleeper, so a mattress with extreme initial give in most foam mattresses cause her to have dizziness issues. Tempurpedic mattresses prove to hold their shape until body heat slowly causes the foam to mold around - it's amazing. As for me, I sleep like a rock. Now, I sleep like a boulder. Thank you. No complaints other than they are quite expensive.

The first year on our new Tempur Pedic Adapt Medium was great. Soft yet firm, with support everywhere you need it. Just like I remember from the Tempur Pedics that I slept on for years throughout high school and again after college. But almost to the day one year later, I started noticing neck pain when I woke up. It wouldn't go away, and started getting worse. I got the Tempur Pedic neck pillow, which did help a bit, and my wife says it reduced my snoring. But the neck pain never went away, with some days worse that others. After a few more months, my wife started having trouble sleeping because of back pain. Then I started getting back pain when lying on my back. We realized the areas where we sleep had gone completely soft, yet the sag in the top layer did not meet the company's warranty standards - as determined from the photos that they told me to take and send in. But this issue is not visible from the outside; it is a failure of the foam cells throughout the midlayers of the mattress. I can feel it by shifting to the center of the bed where neither of our bodies lie while sleeping. It feels like a ridge that you can balance on, like a thin sliver of support. But because of the properties of memory foam, there is no way to evaluate this without lying down on it. The mattress retains it's level form even as the interior foam completely breaks down. The company makes an effort to brand themselves as 'high end' and charge a fortune for their products. But just like their beds, the support from Tempur Pedic's customer service team is also severely lacking. It is very impersonal and you feel somewhat betrayed after getting completely shut down without a fair analysis. I am very disappointed with the way this company has become after being a previously happy customer. I used to recommend the beds anytime the subject came up, but I will never again. The product has gotten worse instead of better, and their service is abysmal.

It took me time to get used to the mattress because it is memory foam, after a couple of weeks it feels great

I haven't been very impressed with this mattress. In the store it was a dream (I actually went back twice a month apart to make sure before buying it). At first I thought the bed just needed to be broken into but I haven't really enjoyed how hard the mattress is

I can say the quality of my and my husband's sleep has truly increased. We selected the medium support mattress and have no regrets at all! We absolutely love it! It provides the perfect balance between semi-firm support and plush comfort, which we totally love because it truly combines the best of both worlds. We don't feel like we're laying down on a wooden plank or about to sink into a pile of cotton, the balance is simply amazing. We have also been enjoying the cool to touch technology and now I have actually been able to sleep through most of the night since I'm not tossing and turning due to heat uncomfortability. And last but not least, the pressure relief comfort layer has helped ease so much of the back pain, along with other aches and discomforts that we had been dealing with on a nightly basis. The tightness and aches that I have been experiencing! I'm been dealing with a lot of tightness, especially on my back and around my hips ( I'm 4 months postpartum), and these have definitely improved since I started sleeping on our Tempur-Pedic mattress. We highly recommend getting one and can definitely see ourselves purchasing some of these mattresses for our little ones in the future! Finally convinced my better half we needed to upgrade our bed. We went with a split king with adjustable bases. Finally a bigger and better, bed. We both love it. My spouse who was hesitant about spending so much money said he would gladly do it all over again. The best nights sleep we have had in years. The adjustment period was a breeze because we already had an inferior queen memory foam bed. My spouse said she sleeps 300% better.

ive had this bed just shy of a year on an adjustable base. It's amazing of course. Took some time to get use to the "stuck in mud" feel. But now i wouldn't have it any other way. I really can't dont think it stays cool all night. Just feels cool when you first lay down. A year in i noticed i could feel the springs with my knee when i got into bed. Then i noticed there was a huge 3 foot across T shaped tear in the mattress all the way down to the springs. I never would have expected that to happen in less than a year. They're replacing it but its a hassle, especially during this pandemic. Hopefully this wont happen again.
