Replaced our mattress with the Tempur-Adapt Medium Hybrid. Our old mattress was a high end foam mattress and 17 years old but technology has changed a lot. Our sleep quality has drastically improved. We chose a hybrid for maximum support it provides for our lower back and hips. We are back/side sleepers and this mattress supports those positions best. I honestly can say we no longer wake up with lower back pain. We use to have to take naps but after we bought this mattress we rarely need them! We have an adjustable base and the mattress does not bunch up in the middle when raised. We also purchased a Tempur Cloud and a Tempur Essential Support Pillow. My husband loves the cloud because it is a bit softer and he is more of a back sleeper but I love the Essential because I mostly sleep on my side and it supports my neck perfectly.

I was hoping as the salesman said it was cooler and better than the other brands I looked at and Tempurpedic has been around for along time so I went with his recommendation. I don't find it to be cool,I still am waking up hot and tossing and turning most of the night. I have only had it for 3 weeks so I am giving it a fair trial and hoping that I have better luck as the salesman said it takes a good month to get used to it.

My experience has been bad. I bought the mattress from a local mattress company. When I started to have back problems I called the number for Tempurpedic that said "Need Help? Talk to a sleep Expert." They refused to help me other than to tell me to call the mattress store since i did not buy the mattress direct from Tempurpedic. When one spends a lot of money to buy an expensive mattress, one would want to try it out first and you can't do that by ordering it directly from the manufcturer, I would think. I think I got the run around from Tempurpedic. I spent a lot of money for an expensive mattress and they only were willing to talk about if there was a factory defect. A back problem was a "comfort" issue and I was told to call the mattress store. The most useful comments suggested below says to contain specific information: How this product has changed my life: I have a back problem now. I don't know if it was coincidental with the purchase of the Tempurpedic mattress. But despite giving a phone number to call for help, I felt that they blew me off. Things you love about it: Nothing Things you don't love about it: I spent a lot of money to get a superior mattress, and I don't know if it is contributing to my back problem or not, but Tempurpedic in my opinion is giving me no useful help.

I was hesitant about the price, but after pulling the trigger, I could tell just after the first night for years, it would take me at least 45 minutes in the morning to get moving. Now I get out of bed and I feel 20 years younger and move right away. I should've bought this bed 10 years ago. Go for it you will not regret it

I had the Tempurpedic Classic Symphony for 12 years and it was the best!! But it began to sag so I used my pro-rated warranty claim for a new mattress and foundation. The Symphony had been discontinued so I was given the medium adapt which is completely different. I have had it for around four weeks and have been in such pain upon waking, in my back, legs, and neck. It is also much higher. I had to buy anothe brand Mattress Topper, which has really helped and really the only way I've been able to keep it. It is comfortable now with it. It's not fair that you not only lose the 90 day trial, but are also stuck with the purchase when you use your warranty. I wish they hadn't discontinued the Symphony as it was firm but plush and comfy. All of the representatives were all very helpful and friendly though, and the claim process was great, other than the fact that I am not happy with the mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new mattress for about a week and it's a bit firm for a Medium but I know with time it will soften up. The first night I could feel my spine realigning. My previous Tempurpedic was 16yrs old and lost its support. This is a great mattress and very supportive.

Bed is firm at first but the more you sleep in it the more comfortable it is. It gets softer without getting divets or indents. I have noticed a big improvement in body aches and sleep quality. Very much worth spending some extra money to get this bed!! I don't think I will ever purchase a different brand again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love my tempur pedic. I never toss and turn anymore. I always fall asleep instantly. I don't wake up with back pain anymore. It's definitely worth the money investing in one of these mattresses! I had gone through 3 or 4 "cheap" mattresses in the last 7-10 years and probably spent more doing that!! I've had my tempurpedic for over a year and still 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone. Especially if you wake up with back pain. If you're tired of your dipped in mattress. If you're tired of tossing and turning to fall asleep. This is a no brainer- stop thinking about it and get it!!! (That was my biggest mistake, not getting it sooner!)

First day I wanted to send it back! The whole night I thought this bed is way to hard.I didn't sleep very well first night But one of my coworkers said to try it for a couple of weeks,it will soften up It has been about a month.....I still think it's a little hard, but my husband likes it. The ones in the store have been broken in , and are nice you sink in them. I bought medium.....the soft at the store was to soft I think I'm starting to get used to it

After sleeping on a traditional mattress & box spring system for over 60 years, the Tempur-adapt medium hybrid is taking a lot longer to get adjusted to; it's been 3 weeks since the new mattress arrived. My wife loves the new mattress; she only weighs about 115 pounds. I'm a side and back sleeper. The back sleeping position is ok, but the side sleeping is taking some time to get used to; I weigh about 175 pounds. The feeling of sinking down and being surrounded by a foam mattress is taking a while to get used to. I'll give it another week of break-in. If the comfort level and sleep does not improve, it's back to the traditional mattress and box spring set-up. My wife would recommend this product. It's too soon for me to recommend this product.
