Not sure it was the right decision to purchase this mattress. The sales person did a great job selling his product. For example, "Once you sleep on a Tempurpedic, you won't sleep well on a hotel mattress." I don't find that to be true. Considering the price paid, I had high expectations. I don't think the mattress is making a significant difference in my sleep. I don't find it to be any better, or worse, than my previous, less-expensive mattress. I believe I could have spent less and gotten a different brand product that would have been just as good.

The mattress is very comfortable but the top layer is extremely slippery! We had deep pocket bed sheets and since this model is only 11" the top sheet slides around A LOT, which is very annoying. Wish we would have known that beforehand and we may have opted for the thicker 12" option. We are considering returning but don't want to go through the hassle. :-/

The Adapt foam mattress molds to body contours, cradling and providing unparalleled support. The medium-firm foam has proven to be comfortable for back, side and stomach sleeping. Best of all, falling asleep and waking up with asleep limbs has ceased. The only complaint has been Tempur-pedic's mattress Warranty which requires the use of a mattress foundation. We purchased the ultra low profile foundation for our platform bed frame. Unfortunately, the depth of the mattress foundation plus mattress appears dimensionally out of proportion for the platform bed frame.

With previous mattresses I would toss and turn all night, literally waking up in pain every time I'd roll over. I was dealing with major lower back pain and shoulder pain all day every day. My husband finally let me order this Mattress and I do not regret it at all. From night one I noticed a difference, I was only waking up because of my cat and not back pain. Worth every penny! We have the adjustable base with this as well and will never go back to any other type of mattress. There is seriously nothing to not love, we love everything about this Mattress.

I had purchased the Tempur-Cloud model back in 2013, and most recently the Tempur-Adapt Medium firmness mattress (queen size). Since my initial purchase in 2013 I can no longer look at other beds as purchasing options. What I love about this mattress is that I am guaranteed a great night sleep. It has the perfect firmness. After a long day of work, I look forward towards relaxing on my Tempur-Adapt to read or watch a bit of TV before hitting the hay. What I hate about it, is that I've become spoiled. When I travel to see my parents or siblings for a weekend, the quality of sleep and comfort does not compare to my mattress. When asked to recommend mattresses to friends and family, I always recommend Tempurpedic. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!

unable to complete process and promotional code used only worked for one mattress when it was a Split King XL twin replacement. Ive been trying to get this taken care of for three years. Unable to comment on Adapt Hybrid as I'm not sure this will ever happen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife really likes it and her back pain is gone. I, on the other hand, still have lower back pain. However, it is a huge improvement over the box spring mattress that I had. I think that the nonhybrid would have been better for us because we each weigh less than 200 lbs and it would be softer. If you are going to get this only get the mattress because if you don't like it you can always return it and not incur the extra expense of a non-returnable platform. If you like the mattress you can always get the platform later. Overall, its the best mattress I have owned so far.

No pressure points and very comfortable. I wish it absorbed more body heat - I get very hot at night and have to change positions a lot to stay comfortable. But most of the mattress is very cool so I can get cooled off quickly once I change positions.

We first bought the soft Tempur-Pedic and it was comfortable but a bit too soft for my husband as he had trouble getting out of bed. We brought it back and got the Tempur Adapt Medium Hybrid mattress. We on were on it for quite awhile in the store and thought it was comfortable however after the first night I woke up with my lower back and shoulder hurting. It was worst the second night. My husband thought the mattress was fine. I regret getting it and wish we were able to return it. We have lost a great deal of money on this mattress.
