Went in to get a store brand Hybrid King, and ended buying a Tempur-Adapt Hybrid, I'm 76 and she is 85, I use to wake up with back pain and sleep four to five hours per night, it took a while to get use to it, but I am sleeping seven hours of a good sound sleep, My wife Love's it, she looks forward going to bed early and reading.

But once I adjusted to this mattress, it has been smooth sailing ever since. No more tossing and turning, no more waking up in the middle of the night! I wake up rested and refreshed, and no aching back. The mattress conforms to my body and supports every inch. After five long years of sleeping on a miserable Serta Willowbrook that broke down just after the grace period expired, I'm finally getting the good nights sleep I needed. About two months prior I had bought a brand new mattress. My hips would still hurt when sleeping on my side, and my back would hurt every time I got out of bed. As soon as the TempurAdapt arrived I put it on my bed. My hips have not hurt once since then and I can get out of bed without my back aching. I have also been sleeping great at night since I don't have to roll around every time my hips start to ache! I also sweat in my sleep alot and haven't once since using this mattress. It's so comfortable and has been a life saver since I'm no longer in pain and can sleep great! I definitely recommend everyone to try out this mattress!!

Watching TV in bed and reading in bed is very relaxing, like sitting in a very comfortable recliner. It is like separate beds with the Twin XL King set up while still seeming as one Single King Bed when using one solid King Upper Sheet while having two fitted Single Twin XL sheets underneath. Very Satisfied and Happy Customer.

It's firm on the edges, but medium soft in the center. You actually sink more in the center than on the sides. The thing about this mattress that I really don't like is that it's hot! I wake up in the middle of the night throwing sheets off. Then I move to the edge and it's cooler. Had I known this, I wouldn't have purchased it.

Love, love the Adapt medium mattress! I've had it for about 7 weeks. It felt a bit firmer when I first got it but after maybe 3 weeks it softened up to how the store model felt. I'm a side and back sleeper and this mattress is the most pressure relieving mattress I've ever had. No more low back, hip, or shoulder pains! I can sleep through the whole night without waking up!

I love the comfort of my new Tempur-Pedic Medium Hybrid mattress but the foam makes it hot to sleep. It holds your body heat so I'm sleeping hot during the night. I hope I get used to this because it's Spring now and it will be hotter in the summer months. For comfort though, I love the feel of this mattress. Just wish it wasn't so hot. If you sleep hot I might NOT recommend this mattress.

I have never loved my mattress. This mattress is worth every penny. I struggled with hip and leg pain for many years and was contemplating surgery. This mattress has given me back the ability to sleep and dream again. It's literally been years since I have slept throughout the night. Thank you Tempur Pedic. I will never go back to the other expensive mattresses I have purchased. If there were ten stars available, that is what I would give this mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TEMPUR-Adapt Medium has been comfortable, supportive, and has given me more consistent sleep on a nightly basis. I would recommend the softer version for a side sleeper, but these mattresses sleep cool and so far have not developed a "hole" where I sleep.

Took some time getting use to from a traditional spring mattress but after a month or so it was perfectly fine. Would've given 5 stars but one of my only complaints is the lack of removable cover to be able to wash it.
