That being said, he said the flavor was really good, very choclate-y and not chalky at all. He said he would definitely drink more. He loves the fact it has over 40 grams of protein in it.

(Although I refrigerated it before hand lol) The only downside is it makes me realllly bloated. Might just be me personally, but that may deter me from purchasing in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Core Power Elite 42g chocolate protein shake is a tasty way to add some protein in your diet with a flavorful chocolate shake. The drink is smooth and creamy and doesn't have any gritty texture similar to what you sometimes get when you use the powder mixes. The chocolate flavor tastes good and doesn't leave the filmy aftertaste that you can get with some protein drinks. I tried 3 different flavors/types of the Core Power protein shakes and the one big difference that I noticed was that with the 42g version, it is much thinner consistency than the 26g drink. This product actually tasted like it was watered down some and didn't give me the feeling of being satisfied afterwards as much as when I drank the 26g shake. As I stated, I still felt hungry and wasn't satisfied afterwards so, for me mainly using the product as a meal replacement for lunch at work, it didn't do what I needed it to do. On the contrary, if you are using this product as a healthy snack or a way to supplement on your protein intake then this shake would do just fine for you.

But I do love how much protein is in it, my body thanks me when I drink this because I produce double the breast milk for my baby, so it's good but tastes yucky

I am always skeptical about drinking these because of the chalky flavor or gross aftertaste but this was delicious! It definitely helped fuel my body back after running. One thing I did not like about these particular protein shakes were that they tasted a bit watery. Overall very good product, very tasty and a great meal replacement option.
