We purchased this chair for my craft room. It is the best one I have ever had. It is well made and sturdy.

Four major and unusual screws were missing, so we were quite frustrated. That’s inexcusable for this expensive item. That being said, it’s exactly what we wanted in a chair.

not the most comfortable

This is the 2nd one I bought. They made it smaller in all dimensions and with worse quality leather so it is not nearly as comfortable as it used to be. It used to have neck support for my height (5'11"), now it's so short there is none. The leaning feature is looser than before, and basically useless. When I bought this 2nd one 09/2025 the product description said it could hold up to 400lbs, but the box says 300lbs. This is clearly a different product from the one I bought in 2022, yet it has the same model %23 and everything, AND it is now $150 more than before for an inferior product. Huge disappointment.

Definitely, this one of the most comfortably padded chairs I’ve ever come across. But there are some major issues with the rest of the chair that caused me to return it! This is a TALL chair. I’m over 6’ tall and I feel like my feet barely touch the ground in the lowest position possible. That makes for uncomfortable sitting...my legs fall asleep after just a little while sitting. My biggest complaint is the tilt mechanism which can only be used to lock to what is supposed to be the vertical position. It feels like it’s actually locking in a forward tilt to me. This would be no big deal, if the mechanism locked in any desired position (my super cheap desk chair doesn’t this!) but There is no way to lock the chair in any other position. Either unlocked the chair is tilting with very little effort and causes frustration, or it is stuck in an awkward tilt slightly forward. The chair seat and back are wonderful, super comfortable and high quality, but many of the other mechanisms seem flimsy and I don’t think they’d survive regular use. I had expected more from the Lazy boy name. I’m definitely disappointed.

Was excited to get the chair, loved the extra gel cushioning and the active lumbar. Arm screw holes that fastened to top cushion were stripped and would not hold arms tight. The customer service number responders they would send new cushion. Several weeks later bonded leather sides on seat cushion began to rip on each side, and within a few weeks, both sides were torn more than 6” each. Then the gas lock on center frame fell down and would not stay up. I finally took chair back. I weigh less than 350 lbs; weight should not have been a problem. Will not buy anything Lazy Boy anymore.

The bonded leather starts separating in just a few weeks and the arms do not stay tightened. The chair itself leans to one side and that started shortly after purchase and has progressed to the point it is causing hip pain to sit in it. Thinking it is covered by a ten year warranty I requested repair/replacement and I was told the only thing covered by the warranty is the mechanics, not the upholstery. What a let down considering how much we paid for this chair. The ten year warranty is very misleading.

This is made of bonded leather, which usually peels off after a few years. It is not made to last very long. Was expecting higher quality for a brand like La-Z-Boy.
