I bought this after having a tornado and a hurricane come thru my area in a span of 6 weeks. Relied on neighbors to plug into their generators to keep my fridge running. I have a natural gas hookup and plan on using this generator to run a small garage apartment. Having a natural gas supply. Keeps me from looking for gasoline and after finding some waiting in lines to get it.

Purchased the original generator and had consistant problems getting it to run properly. Kept shutting off after 15 minutes of run time. Talked to Westinghouse rep and after numerous emails. Was authorized to return it for a new one. New one is running great!

Bought 1 year ago stored indoors no oil or gas in it. Got busy with life and didn't use or register equipment now it's getting close to time for use will find out how machine operates. Delivery person did best to get close to door of RV but struggled however, delivery was on time.

I bought this power pack because I needed something larger to charge and power my photography equipment. Its really worked out well - I've had no issues with it running out of juice on me while working, doesn't really take up that much space compared to the rest of my equipment. Solid purchase.

Purchased this generator when our power went out and was not due to be back on for four days. I ran it for over 60 hours and it handled what we need in our house. Ran the freezer and sump pump in the basement. It also powered our kitchen refrigerator and non essential items like the microwave, TV, internet, lights and more.

Westinghouse electric 12v blanket can only get 58 watts out of the iGen1000s because the car socket is handicapped at 12v/5A. A true car socket gets 10A. Have fun freezing because Westinghouse didn't consider using this for anything but charging a phone or two. Pathetic.

Actually purchased this Generator on the 6th on June. H/D said it would be delivered on the 27th, came on the 12th. Had no problems starting it, started right up. Runs fine, a little noise, but most are. Ran through the breaking in period with no problems. Will have to wait and see how it stands up what they say. Generator cover is suppose to be the Bonus, we'll see.

Purchase this for an emergency in case we lose our power. I've been testing it out along with the solar panel and it's super awesome because it's quiet and obviously recharges and it's very compact. I hope I never have to use it or I have to plan a camping trip soon. .

I bought this power station because a previous power outage. I found myself in the dark with about 45% on my cellphone. There is nothing more scarier that being in a pitch dark house with 45% glaring at you on your phone. I promised to never be caught again in that situation.. Having the knowledge that I have this in my possession and have the power at hand to light up or charge anything electric. Gives me a sense of security.
