Product is great. Seems well built, not as fancy as others I looked at, but I wanted something more rugged. It's light weight, uncomplicated, seems to hold a significant charge and is cheaper than it's peers. No complaints...yet.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone!!..Had to use it today as we lost power due to a car accident that hit a power pole. We have only had it 3 days and it came in so handy for lights and my little tv that requires charging to use.

Wanted to like but it would not charge my phone or tablet 2 Defective units plus both units were turned on when I opened up the shipping box. Thanks Westinghouse.

So far, its worked great for my husbands wearable O2 concentrator. I carry it in a backpack (6 lbs) so when we are someplace where an electrical outlet is not available, we can plug his O2 into the IGen

I mainly ordered this unit to power my modem-router (gateway) should the power go out to my home. It is great having a unit that actually tells you via the side display how much power the DC and AC outlets on the unit are providing to whatever you have plugged into it. My gateway draws about 25 to 30 watts. I haven't done enough testing to determine how much time the battery in the iGEN300 would sustain the gateway in service, but looks like it could handle about 12 to 18 hours at that discharge rate. CON: I was kind of hoping that I could use this Portable Power Station as a UPS. By that I mean that I really wanted to plug my Gateway into it, and at the same time have the battery in the unit charging. In other words under normal conditions when the power is on to my home, have the iGen300s charge its internal battery while supplying power to my gateway. If the power goes out to my home, I was thinking that the unit's internal battery would continue to supply power to my gateway until the main power came back on. This is NOT the case. When the front outlets are supplying power to whatever you have plugged into it, the battery is NOT charging. It is an either/or situation.

Electric off for most of day for pole repairs. I worked from home as usual using the generator for Hughes internet connection, with no problem. About 5 hours and still plenty of power showing on the Gen300 meter. I leave it plugged in when not in use, as recommended. So it is always ready to go.

I have to say it's light weight and offers alot except power for what I need. My 1.9 amp Kenmore freezer did not like this generator. The freezer alarm kept going off. I thought I broke the freezer, but it reset itself. Now what? Do I buy the 600S? Or did Kenmore lie about the electrical specks. All I'm asking for is the freezer to run a couple of times overnight in case the power goes out until I can run a gas generator. if you want something done right you do it yourself. By the time I spend $450 for a 600 watt I'll build my own generator.

I was excited when it arrived on its potential but really fell short. I wanted to use it at football tailgates to warm food in crockpots and run a tv to watch other games while tailgating. Battery life is terrible. It lasted 1 hour for a crockpot and only last 2 hours for just a tv to run. Just not functional for many purposes.

This little thing packs a lot of power and does exactly what I need it to do! It's an excellent choice for plugging lamps into it as well as small electronics (laptop, tablet, phone) to charge them when the power is out. I even went as far as plugging in my modem/router combo and my 60 inch TV into it and it registered at 165 watts of combined power usage. I currently have 2 of them and just bought a 3rd one! I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone looking for a portable/backup/emergency power source.

Perfect for the quick need, I ran tests and ran 32 in TV and direct TV box for 2 1/2 hours. Ran a 13 in TV with dvd player for 5 1/2 hours. Charged my backup batteries, laptop,3 tablets and 2 cell phones 4 times each. Ran my modem for 18 hours. So in my opinion for a day or 2 of needs this can provide perfect way to keep in contact. Only downside is I'd advise planning ahead if storms are expected plug unit in to keep a full charge.For its size it's a truly good product.
