I suppose if I only wore dresses with them, it would be great. The thickness is very "dependable."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually buy store brands or poise pads. the store brands I cut the waist band to make it shorter as I am 5.0 tall. depends are about the right height. material could be softer. a little tight. xl would be better, not just l/xl. good product though. comfortable otherwise. they are more like regular underwear than cheap store brands. I like the leg part. waist looks like it is inside out. cannot be cut to fit in waist. I would be afraid to try.

I love the Silhouettes disposable briefs. As a 50 year old woman, who is not yet a senior citizen, it is a bit embarrassing to have to wear them in the first place. However, wearing these allows one to retain some of their dignity and privacy as they look just like regular underwear. They are lightweight, breathable and very comfortable. The only reason I did not rate them a 5 is because it would be nice if they would come in sizes larger than XL, as I am a plus sized woman who is 5'10" and weighs 270 lbs., so the XL is a bit snug. I would like a tad bit looser fit. They look good under your clothes because they don't have the elastic band at the top that sometimes bulges over the top of your skirt or pants if they are a little low cut, and don't make you feel like you're wearing a diaper as an adult. I shared a pair with my 73 year old mother and she really likes them too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These briefs are very absorbent and saved me many times from being embarrassed while out in public. I was on a medication that caused me to be incontinent (only I didn't realize it for over a year). I tried all kinds of pads but they did not absorb enough. I sent for a free sample kit which let me determine the best size for me. I wore them and was very excited when they absorbed excellent and yet could not be detected under my clothes (5 star rating). I would have given the 5 star rating overall but when I am not incontinent the plastic piece of material that seems to make a seam in the buttocks area makes me sweat. It's only a 1 inch, or smaller, piece of plastic but it sticks to me and I find it uncomfortable. I'm sure it's there for a reason but I wish it wasn't there. I still recommend it as it's the most absorbent product I have found.

Depend Silhouette feels comfortable and absorbs well. The cut is not perfect for me but it doesn't bother me at all and depending on everyone's body shape, it is going to differ. Overall I loved it.

That's not a bad thing when you have to rush to the bathroom in the store and all the stalls are being used. The fabric is thin like underwear so it is not noticable under your clothes and they do not leak. When you do have that oops moment, the blue strip wick's it away from your body so there's no irritation. That's a plus in my book!
