So fun to build. Goes great in the rest of my Hogwarts castle expansion. Has all the iconic scenes and is built PERFECTLY! I love this set.

The Great Hall is truly a spellbinding set that brought immense joy to our family! My 10-year-old son had been eyeing this set for a while, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we opened the box, the excitement of diving into the wizarding world was palpable. The build was an absolute delight. It was engaging without being overwhelming, and the detailed instructions made the process smooth and enjoyable. My son and I worked on it together, which made for some fantastic bonding time. The intricate designs of the castle—right down to the stained-glass windows and magical accessories—transported us straight to the heart of Hogwarts. What makes this set stand out is the incredible attention to detail. From the floating candles to the house banners, every piece adds to the authenticity of the Great Hall. The set is also a great display piece, adding a magical touch to any room. Thankfully, we were able to collect 4 different collectible portraits just in this build and looking forward to finishing the entire set of 14 soon. If you’re a Harry Potter fan or simply love detailed Lego builds, this set is a must-have. My son is already planning his next adventure with Lego Harry Potter sets! Highly recommend for hours of creative fun and family bonding.

For anyone who loves Harry Potter and have built the older Great Hall models, this is for you. It’s so cool to see the evolution of the designs. This model specifically is built very sturdy, which is something I love in a Lego set. I loved every second of building this and can’t wait to get the different attachments that go with it!

I’m new to Legos, but after a house flood I needed a stress reliever and this fit the bill. I never played with Legos as a kid so this is all new and very fun. On Halloween I decorate in a Harry Potter theme and this set will fit right in. I’m looking forward to collecting the future sets as they are released.

The set is great looking and is much bigger in person once you built it than what I've seen on pictures and in youtube reviews. I have one issue with it though - the big rock pieces that make up a large part of the foundation have very visible mold injection marks, and I feel that takes away from what would otherwise be a perfect set.

Pros to this set: I love the way the bags were separated with the separate instructions! Makes building with my 2 boys much more enjoyable because one kid could build the bathroom while the other built the classroom. Nothing felt repetitive with this build which made the process enjoyable all the way through. Pretty easy build, my 4 yo had no issues! Lastly, I could not get my kids interested with Harry Potter until I bought this HP Lego set. Being able to explain different scenes of the movie through Lego got the kids interested enough to watch the movies! Now they are Harry fans and cant wait for the next build! Thank you Lego 💛 My only down side: my favorite part of the process is when you can’t tell what you’re building until the very end because the building technique is so wild. Unfortunately in this build, there were no building techniques that wowed me, pretty simple and predictive. On the other hand, it has plenty of references from the movie so I’m still very happy with the build! Excited to build the burrow with the kids next weekend 👍

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so excited to see each Harry Potter set come out that corresponds to the previous sets. The details, hidden easter eggs and ability to connect it with the other Hogwarts sets is awesome. Can't wait to see what comes out each year. This set does not dissappoint.

This set may not seem like much without the tall grand staircase for now. But definitely get it if you are a Harry Potter fan the amount of details that can still be added in the meantime and the amount of rooms that can be made and inserted into the dungeon section of the Great Hall, would be amazing. Plus on its own it's still an Immaculate build to have on display. I do believe it's missing a couple of pieces to make it as perfect as ever, but that's where the creativeness comes in. I definitely did some changes myself and I love this set. And can't wait to see the whole castle all together in the future.
