This product contains Dextrose, which is NOT safe for Type 2 diabetics. Dextrose is a naturally occurring sugar that the liver generates. Dextrose has a glycemic index (GI) of 100 due to its molecular structure. Whereas sucrose (table sugar) is 65 and fructose is 19 on the GI scale. Dextrose can increase blood sugar levels very quickly and cause more problems for people with diabetes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of my favorite zero calorie sweeteners! The sweetness level is just right, & doesn't leave a weird aftertaste. It dissolves easily. It's a great substitute for baking, or in tea/coffee. I like the individual packets so I can add as much as I need without wasting any. & the packets lasts longer without the added worry of being wasteful. The look reminds me of powdered sugar so I also use it in decorating desserts. Definitely recommend giving this a try if you're wanting to try zero calorie options

Easy to use single packs for convenience I also can carry them with me for on the go. Definitely recommend!

I enjoy reading the cute messages that they added to each packet! A little sad that it has a weird after taste, but I like that I can enjoy it with my tea! I don't add it to my coffee because of the aftertaste though.

It has the same taste of regular sugar to me but on a more healthier side. I love the easy on the go packets. I can throw some in my purse. Use them in the office. Baking good has become more easy when you use the right sugar.

There are 100 packets in this box and I feel like that's a great value. They are the perfect size and easy to open. Small box so it's easy to store in my cabinet at home but I put this one in my desk at work.
