Quality of rice is quite shocking. I am sure the person who made this knew this rice wasn’t right for sushi… You can’t even tell the original shape of the rice. Very disappointed.

This tray is boring and misleading. Aside from the shrimp tail on the end, most of the shrimp part of this sushi tray is for show, as it's mostly just the breading. The tray is situated in such a way that makes you think there are 5 different types, but there are only 3, as the ones on the sides are the same as one of the inner ones, just a different color on top

Day old sushi. I came in to get this for my daughter’s bday. They only had one platter. After looking at it - colors were dull. I asked if it was fresh. The worker said —-Yesterday. Sushi should be made that day/ if it wasn’t for a birthday I would have not gotten it - we threw more than 1/2 out, I paid full price for old product. I would avoid.

I'm baffled by the 5-star reviews. It's either marketing or the reviewers have never eaten 'passable' sushi. The rice is old and clumpy. The wasabi is -- not sure. I've never had brown wasabi (should be bright green). Doesn't even really get brown when mixed with soya sauce. The 'seafood' bits were sheer rubber. NO!

We’ve bought this several times in the past and have usually had a good experience and have had leftovers still good the next day. However, I bought one tonight with an expiration date a day and a half before it expires and the sushi was hard and some of the toppings did not have much flavor. For the cost, Sam’s club should consider reducing the expiration date if the rice is going to be hard before it expires.

When I’m desperate I get my sushi from the store, this time from Sam’s Club. It’s New Year’s Eve and raining and I wanted sushi. Not up to par, tasted dry and old. Last time I buy sushi from a store no matter how desperate I am. Don’t buy, trust me. I had pictures but for some unknown reason the site would not let me post them.

I don't expect store bought sushi to taste as good as restaurant quality..but it's very disappointing that most of FujiSan's sushi rolls are basically a California roll filling with something thrown on top to make it look different. And the flavor predominantly remains the same old boring flavor of their California roll. Most of my family & friends agree with me and we have stopped purchasing it for this reason. FujiSan desperately needs different flavored fillings for their rolls. Even their sushi rice lacks the typical rice vinegar flavor traditional sushi has. Will not purchase again.

This product was underwhelming. The info states that you get different sushi rolls except they're all the same exact role but two of the rolls have different toppings. The rice was very chewy. It wasn't a matter of freshness because I ordered it and picked it up. Will not buy sushi from here again.

We generally enjoy the sushi from Sam's but this time it has gone down a little with regard to preperation. Why include a shrimp offering at all when you slice it so thin that it is barely there? It must be for show. The other options were good hence the 4 stars... shrinking value we hope doesn't get worse.

We were amazed at how fresh and delicious this tasted. It is very good for “store bought” sushi and it tastes like restaurant quality. I don’t know how long Sam’s has had sushi, but I hope it continues. My family asked if we could have it once a week, which is one less day of cooking for me. I highly recommend! Yummy!
