I bought this box a few weeks ago and just had the chance to put it together. Easy to assemble, clear instructions and well made. I like the fact it has pistons to hold the top open. I bought a different box a few years ago from another store. It was more expensive and doesn't hold the top up when its open. It was also much harder to assemble.

Just received the 165 gallon brown storage box today. I put it together in about 45 minutes, but it would probably take younger folks less time. It was simple to assemble, but it helped to have an extra set of hands to help hold the sides when snapping them together with the bottom. A Philips screwdriver is the only tool needed- but a drill with a screwdriver bit is handy since there's about 18 screws. I also used a rubber mallet to gently tap everything together, but it's not necessary. I wanted something sturdy for my porch that packages/deliveries could be set on, and this is ideal. The top of the storage box comes up just below my waist, so it'll be easier for me to lift heavier packages compared to the little 18" high table I've been using.

Love it .! We bought ours in early spring. Shipped here in perfect shape , all parts were included. Easy assembly. This deck box is huge! All our pool toys , full life jackets , folded floaties , balls , and miscellaneous items in round clothes basket fit . And No leaking from our hard rains this summer ! I definitely would buy another if we needed more space

Nice size, great looking but......Like many other reviews ours came with some damage. I am not sure if it's the shipper they use (FEDEX in our case) or the way it's packaged from the Keter. Luckily ours was somewhat minor and still functional. If I wanted a dark color I would recommend picking it up in the store rather than ordering online.

This box is just what I needed! Big enough to handle the 8 cushions from my 4 wicker glider deck chairs, but small enough to fit on the deck with the furniture and table. Solid enough for 2 adults to sit on. Put it together by myself except needed the wife to help secure the lid. Great product!!!

The lid had deep scratches in it which had to have happened before it was packed in the box. KETER responded when I emailed immediately and would be glad to send me a new one after I sent them a picture of it and other info. I did that NUMEROUS TIMES but they never responded again, only to send me a couple of well spaced out emails (which I also responded to) stating that they were waiting for my reply (!!!???) and would close this case at a certain time if they failed to hear from me (!!!???) which they did.

It cracked while putting it together! Very poor quality and a waste of money.

This box was great for 9 months, then the hinge failed and the lid warped!
