I’m not a turkey bacon fan but during a hospital stay turkey sausage was served. I braced myself for the harsh aftertaste but was pleasantly surprised. Jimmy Deans Turkey Sausage hit the mark. My cholesterol has been great but now I know it’s going to be a few points better.

Excellent flavor and great replacement for the higher fat and calories of traditional pork breakfast sausage. Does it taste the same? Of course not! But, it’s a great alternative!

I have been eating this sausage on a regular basis for years. I bough a box several weeks ago and it didn't taste good. It was very bland. I thought I just got a bad batch. I bought two boxes the last time. The taste is still bland. Why did Jimmy Dean change the recipe when it was excellent before the change? The new recipe is not tasty. Probably will not buy again. Please bring back the original flavor.

Bought these to make my own breakfast sandwiches real quick. Main complaint is that they are so tiny. They are about the diameter of a bottle cap to a 64 oz bottle of juice. That's not very big if your making a sandwich but for turkey sausage or bacon you don't have many options so either buy it or dont

These turkey sausages were not for me. I did not like them, but I am feeding them to the opossums outside. Pork sausages are much tastier.

In an effort to reduce my fat intake I switched to turkey bacon -- then I discovered Jimmy Dean turkey sausage patties. I like Jimmy Deans Pork sausage patties so I thought I would try the turkey version. I have tried to prepare these in a way that might "soften" them up a little and have failed. The taste is not great, the texture is extremely chewy, Boiling didn't help, pan frying was better but not much. Microwaving was a complete bust.

These are fresh, not frozen sausages. When I got home , I realized that they had a use by date over a month before my purchase. I was shocked Sams would sell expired fresh meat. Quality control at this store is not great. Had to make another trip to get a refund.
