I've used wireless mice in the past. They never worked well. Purchased a new laptop and thought I'd try this one again. So far, it's terrific. Worked well enough that I bought two more to have around as back ups while they were on sale.

I got this mouse on sale thinking my husband would like the color. He mainly uses the touchpad, but there are times when a mouse is more useful. He likes the color so much it's being used quite a bit. It seems to work very well. We haven't had it long enough to judge battery life, but it should be fine. Size is compact, but not too small, great as a travel mouse. We're very pleased with it!

The description for this item states "The tiny Unifying receiver connects up to six Unifying-compatible devices with a powerful, reliable wireless connection (up to 25 meters).". However, the receiver that comes with the mouse is non-unifying, and the mouse itself is not unifying capable. The mouse does work with the included receiver, but you can't, for example, add a keyboard to the same receiver. In addition, since the mouse is not unifying capable, you can't add the mouse to the unifying receiver that comes with , for example, a Logitech K360, or K270 keyboard. To get both the mouse and the keyboard to work on the same PC you would have to use two USB ports, one for the mouse's receiver, and the other for the keyboard's receiver. In the past I have purchased M317 mouses that were unifying capable and came with a unifying receiver. However, the mouse I received from Sam's is an M317C which is non-unifying. Note that I recently also purchased an M317 mouse directly from the Logitech website and I also received an M317C. It seems that if you are looking for a unifying capable mouse you can't trust the item descriptions, even from the manufacturer's site. Good luck!

Just received this new mouse, does not work. I changed the existing battery to a brand new one. The power light still does not shine, and it does not work. At the expense that I paid, I cannot afford to write it off and order another one from you or someone else. How do I return to get one that will work as soon as possible?

Easy to use within seconds of taking it out of the package.
