I love the size and capacity of this fridge as an extra place to stow overflow items and drinks. Seems to work well although I've had it only a couple days. It was delivered to a house about a half mile from my home, which was a hassle since I don't own a truck, but that was fedex not Sams. It arrived with a cut/dent in the side which doesn't make any difference in function but was a disappointment. It doesn't seem worth the hassle of a return but seems immediately like a scratch and dent item rather than a regular purchase.

Help! Why does the freezer keep icing up so badly

We purchased this fridge for our small office approximately one month ago. The unit looks great but the freezer keeps icing (a lot, not a little) and I can’t figure out what’s causing this. I’ve reread the manual and there are no troubleshooting tips in it. So then I went to YouTube to see what I could find there and that was also unsuccessful. So, I’m hoping this review will garner some attention from the manufacturer so I can get some assistance. Could it be a bad freezer door seal? Do I need to consistently keep something in the freezer? Do I have the single temp control set wrong (on 3). If I could figure out this problem I would gladly change my review to 5 ⭐️ because the unit is really the perfect addition to our space.

Here's a tutorial on how to resolve the issue you describe:How to Reduce & Resolve Frost Buildup in Upright Freezers, Refrigerator and Freezer Compartments of Refrigerators.Frost occurs when moisture in ambient air touches the cold evaporator coils, metal shelves and interior sides of a freezer or refrigerator.Steps you can take to reduce frost build up:Move your hand around the outside of the freezer/refrigerator door. If you feel cold air, then the door is not sealing adequately. You can adjust the door by loosening the top hinge to reposition/adjust the freezer door to create a tight seal.Adjust the front levelling feet of your unit such that the front of the unit is slightly higher than the rear. Gravity will assist the door to close with a proper seal.TIP: Close the door on a dollar bill (or similar). The dollar bill should not easily pull out - there should be some resistance. Perform the “Dollar Bill Test” on the top, sides, bottom of your freezer door, and adjust accordingly.Do not over fill your freezer to prevent food items from shifting and preventing the freezer door from closing properly.Place only cool or cold food items in your refrigerator or freezer. Hot foods introduce humidity into the food storage compartment, which contributes to frost build up. Allow hot foods to cool before placing them in the refrigerator or freezer.Wrap foods tightly with plastic wrap. Butcher paper is not an adequate wrapping material. Glass container lids typically do not provide a proper seal.Dry the exterior of food before storing. By the time you reach home after purchasing frozen foods, the food items may have defrosted a bit and moisture may have already developed on packaging. Reduce the amount of time the door remains open. Labelling and organizing your foods so you can easily identify them will help shorten the number and duration of freezer trips. Set the freezer temperature so the freezers interior compartment stays around 0F (-18C), as higher and lower temperature settings contribute to frost build up.Door Seal Care:Keep the door seal clean. You can clean your door seal with a solution of one tsp of baking soda to a quart of lukewarm water. Pour the solution onto a clean sponge, and wipe it over the seal. Sponge off the solution with clear water and dry the seal with a clean cloth before closing the freezer door.Keep the door seal flexible by lubricating it with some petroleum jelly (e.g. Vaseline). Wipe it on and wipe it off with a clean dry cloth.

Good for an extra fridge

My regular fridge is small and especially at the holidays I run out of room. This was a bit smaller than I expected but it definitely helped me out with the overflow and it cooled nicely. I don't like that its not garage ready but for the price point I made room for it inside. Also, I did pick up from the store and it had zero dents that others have talked about. It also fit in a compact suv for transport no problem and I was able to walk the box inside myself. Unpacking was a bit of a pain and there is a clear film over the entire fridge that has to be removed.

they didn't install with online purchase delivery

don't purchase this online for shipping if you expect it to be installed. all refrigerator purchases come with installation, per the sams club policy. however, not only did they not deliver it to my door(i'm upstairs, they delivered it to the downstairs mailroom), they also didn't haul it upstairs like they're supposed to and install it in my apartment like they're supposed to. it's about 20 dollars less if you buy it in store rather than online and you'll have to install it yourself, which you'd have to do anyways if you buy it online. customer service was useless. but the sams club policy is clear. what i'm going to do is submit a dispute with my bank that i used to pay for the item.

Damaged and damaged replacemen

I purchased this a few weeks ago. It came in with no damage to the shipping box, but when we took it out of the box, there were huge dents everywhere. It obviously was dented before being boxed or shipped. So I do a return to get a new one. This one came in yesterday. The box was in perfect condition again, took the box off, and although it wasn't as dented as the first one, it was definitely damaged, and again prior to being boxed and shipped. Contacted Sam's customer support today. I explained my husband and I are both disabled and can't physically keep moving refrigerators, so we would just keep it despite all the cosmetic damage, but they needed to implement some type of quality control. They gave me a $29 credit for it being damaged if we were willing to keep it. Completely ridiculous. I don't that we will renew our membership this year after this experience. If you have to pay to shop at a store that apparently has a batch of damaged appliances they are attempting to get rid of, without advertising it's damaged, it's not worth my time or money. I expect better out of Sam's Club and the quality of their products, especially when I am paying to shop there.

Great Beverage Fridge

So far, I'm very happy with this fridge. We use a smaller fridge at our cabin as a beverage fridge - water, soda, etc. Over the years, we've had two other small fridges - this one is our third. We went on Sam's Online, this fridge was priced right, with a freezer (which we've never had before.) Everything works great so far. The freezer on this unit actually works good - usually when you have a freezer with a smaller fridge like this, they generally don't work well. As long as this unit stands the test of time, I'm quite happy with it. (It's been in service for a couple month's now.)

Arrived damaged!!!

Refrigerator packaging arrived damaged! Upon opening the damaged package, the refrigerator has dent where the shipping box had damage. Noticeable ding/dent right on the upper door. Unless you are looking for a brand new refrigerator that comes with cosmetic damage then I would not recommend this product!
