Arrived quickly and was easy to fold out. Also, this product is cheaper (and obviously, much more convenient and sturdy) than the junk others sell at the big box mattress stores. We recently bought an Avocado King mattress and that company does not sell box springs so they recommended Zinus. Glad they did! The new mattress sat too low on our new bed but now with the steel box springs, it is perfect. Note that we originally had the box springs up-side down which is not comfortable. After a night's sleep, we woke up smarter, did the flip and now the new bed, new mattress and new box springs work in harmony.

As soon as I opened the box spring mattress I could smell a funky odor. I aired the box spring out in the garage thinking the smell had gone away. Once I brought it upstairs my 3 year old daughter was so excited for her “big bed”. I put the bed in her room and let her sleep on it. By the morning her room had the smell of a musty or moldy smell. She also had developed some type of cough within this time. I called customer service to tell them what was going on with the box spring. They had told me that unfortunately they will just have to investigate the purchase. Investigate. Like I was lying about the smell and the health of my child. I asked them to please come pick up the mattress and box spring. The customer service agent told me someone will just have to get back to me. All I wanted was a new one. Still no phone call, reply or answer. So now I have a twin bed I paid $300 for that I can’t do anything with and I have to buy something new. On top of it go the the dr for this mysterious cough my daughter now has. Overall not happy with the way sams club is going about the whole situation and I have never had a problem beforehand with them. And as a business owner we purchase all of our supplies from there. Not impressed.

So far, we are very pleased with our mattress. The box springs were genius- theycame right out of the box and assembled immediately. This was only our 2nd night of sleeping on our mattress, but they’ve been wonderful so far. The chemical smell is a bit offputting in the beginning, but it’s alrwdy starting to fade. I’ve been telling everyone about our mattress! Can’t wait to keep sleeping comfortably. and at 35 weeks pregnant, that can be difficult!

The craziest thing of this BiFold Box Sping is the Assembly process. It took me less than 5 minutes to break the box seal, unpack each of the Boxes, Lay them on the wooden slats of my Bed and unfold them to zip the clothing cover. And I'm pretty sure, It will take the same amount of time to pack them when moving as well. Don't hesitate. Just get this Box Spring and leave everything else to Zinus.

With the newest mattresses that are not made to go with traditional box springs, this product bridges the gap and offers a well made and easy to install substitute. If you have a traditional bed frame, you still need something in place of the box springs and this works perfectly!! Shipped quickly in a box that is manageable, even with a king size that we purchased. Easy to move into the bedroom where it was installed easily and without any hassle.

I bought the 4" folding box springs so that I could lift my 14" combo mattress out of the sleigh bed well. Before, I couldn't make the bed very well. It's perfect, just high enough. I was worried that when it came out of the box & plastic, that it would snap open, not constructed that way. It gently unfolds (you have to push it apart) and then you zip up the cover. I did a queen size all by myself. I have a bunkie board underneath it, so I actually put the folded box springs on that before I opened it.

Great product at a great price. I now have two of them, one in cal king and one in queen. Both are performing well. Note: When you set one of these up, make sure there is another person around to help with the unpack and the unfold. And follow the instructions!

It goes together easy but The stringers go only across and a true box spring has 4 inch squares across the whole top that the mattress sits on. With this you have to put 1/2 plywood on top of it to hold the mattress correctly. This is only good to put a conventional box spring on it.

Husband falls asleep in 2 seconds. I'm still a little restless, just because I tend to think about why we waited so long. All I want to do is be in my bed and on the weekends i make time to get a nap in. Earlier I told my coworkers, "I think my mattress is making me lazy because I just want to be wrapped up in the comfort." My lower back pain is gone! Yay! We will definitely be purchasing this brand for our kiddos soon. Thanks Zinus for an Amazing quality product at an outstanding affordable price. I had already purchased the 13" Night Therapy Deluxe Euro Box Top Spring Mattress and needed a new Foundation. The video that showed the Night Therapy Bi-Fold Box Spring Folding Foundation-Full showed it being placed on the existing full size bed frame. When I received this bi-fold foundation, it did not fit my existing frame. I checked and found the Night Therapy Smart Base Steel Bed Framed Foundation-full, for $100 less. I now have my new bed setting on the floor because I ordered the wrong foundation. In that respect, I am not satisfied fully with this purchase. Maybe this will help someone else purchase the correct items.
