Bought this battery for my Cub Cadet compact tractor 4-29-13. Will replace today 10-22-21. It still will work if you keep a charger on it or you run the tractor every couple of days but I don't use it that much now that I'm disabled so I don't want to fool with a charger any more. Only complaint I have is the price went from $70 to $110. That's a 12.5% a year increase. And they say inflation isn't out of control? Good luck with that LOL!

I’m happy with my auto battery purchase didn’t my favorite brand for batteries made them for cars too. I’m glad I find out and great price too.

Perfect fir for my New Holland tractor. Could not find it at any local store and dealer was significantly more expensive. Was amazed Sam's Club had it and at such a great price.

Very happy with it so far after a month. The tru evaluation will be how it holds after 4 years.

I purchased this battery (Duracell 51R) from Sam’s Club on March of 2013 for my Mazda Miata. It still holds a charge but it is getting weak. I’ve never had a battery that lasted this long.

Battery does not last. Exchanged battery, 10 months later battery didnt work. Needless to say I had to purchase a new battery from another place. Also, told thats Sams only offers a one time exchange even though it's supposed to have a 3 year exchange.

It died in my garage inside the car within 3 days after purchasing. I had a walmart battery that would start in frigid cold at anytime until it died after 4 years. Duracell was an embarasment compared to my old battery. It's going back to Sam's this weekend.

I bought the 51 battery for my S2K. When it went bad, after one year (3 year gaurantee) they refused to give me a new battery. They said they would charge it and that is all they do. The complete statement is a lie. They state: "Does Sam's Club Replace Duracell Car Batteries? Sam's Club offers a battery warranty for peace of mind. When you purchase a Duracell car battery, there is a 36-month replacement guarantee. This means that if your battery stops working after normal usage and shows a Bad result with testing within that time, Sam's Club will replace it. This warranty only applies to batteries that are installed properly and used for the correct applications. The warranty on a 12v car battery starts from the date of purchase of the original battery and does not reset when a replacement battery is needed. Posted core charge may apply—amount varies by state For 3-year free replacement: Retail differences, disposal fees and taxes may apply Warranty Get a free replacement for 36 months." They outright refused me at the Sam's in Douglasville. I had them install it and everything. Then when I told them I would have my car towed to their location so they could replace they told me that I could do that or to just take the battery out and bring it to the store. That I would have to wait a few hours while they charged it. The battery has never worked right prior or since!!!!!!!

UPDATE: Most recent was DOA! After waiting to be restocked for over 10 days and all the trouble of swapping out core and installing new it was DEAD. Know I have to do it all this work again! Might not be worth the headache. I am about to purchase my third Duracell 51, best deal $ I can find local. Plenty of power to start vehicle, holds charge for weeks without starting. Here in the Florida heat I only get 4 years max top of life. Maybe will do like the Auto techs have told me and just return before the 3 year warranty expires for FREE no questions asked replacement.
