A family member of mine deals with urinary incontinence, and it can be very tough to find a product that actually works but also is discreet enough to not show through clothing and to hide the scent of urine. The overall fit is very comfortable and feels underwear-like. The stretch allows for a good fit that feels secure to the body. The incontinence portion of the underwear is large enough to hold a lot and catch leaks, as it holds 25x its weight! Which is amazing for how discreet and unnoticeable they are under clothing. My family member is concerned with those around him noticing the scent of urine, but we both agree that there is no urine scent when this product is used. Overall these incontinence underwear from Depends are wonderful and do everything they claim, which for someone dealing with urinary incontinence, this is a life saver! I’d definitely recommend this product for anyone struggling with urinary incontinence!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use these Depends for my mother-in-law who moved in with us. She is intermittently incontinent, so we replaced her regular underwear with these. They're really great for keeping her clean and to have for protecting our bedding, clothing, and furniture from getting soiled in case of accidents. The color is nice, and they do control odors, although they do not eliminate them. The reason I did not give this a five-star rating is because of absorbency issues. My MIL was sick and had diarrhea, and the liquid just sat on the surface of the Depend. So when we went to remove it, it spilled all over in the bathroom and on her legs. It's definitely better than not having them as it held the liquid in until we pulled them off. So we also need to figure out a better way to deal with this situation if it happens again, like maybe putting paper towels in before removing it to absorb. Overall, we definitely give it a strong four-star rating.

My normal size in underwear is a men's large, the large in these fit nice and secure. The pad is absorbent, but doesn't come up very high in the back. I wouldn't count on it to hold "excrement" for this reason. I tested these underwear by pouring a total of 8oz of water on the pad. I then sat down in it, and was surprised how well it kept the water in. No leaks from that test. With a feeling of minor dampness. I proceeded to add an additional 4oz. The additional amount was uncomfortable and very noticeable. Overall I recommend these underwear for comfort, durability, and absorbency.

Sometimes, with the pads, when I would sneeze, cough or laugh, I would leak a little more, and would get my underwear wet, either from the sides moving, or the urine moving forward or backward and the pad not catching it. No worrying about checking out my back end in a mirror when I was out running errands, to see if there was a wet spot.
