They were a bit stuffy and sweaty to wear, but that is expected from a plastic coating. I wouldn't expect these to catch a whole lot of fluid, but for moderate goings, I would trust these to hold. They are a bit tough to rip the side to get them off as my preferred method rather than pulling them down.
