Not a fan of Jameson. Maybe I just went overboard in college with it, but still. To me it does not go down smooth! It isn't too expensive, so that's a plus. I HAVE heard that chasing it with pickle juice is pretty good, so if I DO every drink this again, it will be with pickle juice as a chaser.

Jameson is a great whiskey! Not only is it a great drinking whiskey it is amazing for cooking with! It is very smooth and doesn’t leave me at the end desiring a chaser or the inability to drink! I would absolutely recommend Jameson to those interested in a smooth and tasty whiskey 

i have tasted many a Whiskey, but jameson is so smooth it leaves the rest in the dust. i have to be careful what i drink because of the irritation the brown gives me, but not this one. this one it's so gentle to the belly, i can't drink anything else

This whiskey brings back a lot of pregame nights at college lol. It's a good whiskey. I usually drink it with ginger ale and ice...or just take shots haha! Anyway, I would definitely recommend you this whiskey if you didn't know what to pick out for a night of drinking.

Meh. Jameson's is in the "what can I buy for as little as possible which doesn't taste awful" category of liquor. As such, it succeeds in not tasting awful. In fact, it tastes fine, with little harshness and quite a nice mouthfeel and a reigned-in grain-bitterness which is familiar and pleasant. But there isn't much there. Jack Daniels has more character, if more harshness. I would suggest The Baillie Nicol Jarvie as head and shoulders above this one, but I don't think they make it anymore. Or Famous Grouse, but they've changed that so it's not as good. Or Black Bottle, though it's been at least ten years since I've tried it. Has that been ruined as well? Suntory Old gets a thumbs-up as an alternative too. Basically what I'm saying is, there is nothing either special or terrible about this Jameson's and there are far too many slightly better alternatives to mention.

This is my go-to whiskey for everything! It's a good value and has a smooth taste. I have a hard time drinking some other whiskeys now since I love Jameson so much. It goes perfectly with Coke! This is the perfect whiskey for someone that doesn't want to spend a ton but still wants a good taste

If Jack isn't available during happy hour, then I'll go for a Jameson instead. In comparison to Jack Daniel's, Jameson is pretty smooth as well. I like to drink Jameson with ginger beer. It is a good value as far as price and quality. Definitely an essential bottle of whiskey to keep stashed in the house. 

Overall Jameson Irish Whiskey is a tasty whiskey and I enjoy it for what it is. It's not my first choice neat, but on the rocks it's nice and as a mixer it's excellent. It's decent stuff and I'm happy to see so many people “discovering” Irish whiskey because of it.

I have friends who this is all they drink. Leaves a horrible burning after taste after sipping a shot. I think there are many better alternatives then Jameson. I believe it's all the hype with this whiskey as well. I wouldn't purchase a bottle myself

I like Jameson but it’s not my favorite. I would pick Jack Daniels over it but it seems to always be my go to when I run out of Jack Daniels. For me it’s easy to drink and have a good time with. It goes down smooth and tastes pretty good also! I would recommend to someone that never had it before!
