I was never a Whiskey drinker until we vacationed in Ireland and we took the Distillery Tour at the Midleton Ditillery. The tour was fascinating and in tasting Jameson I fell in love. The tasting compared it against other Whiskeys (Jack Daniel's being one one - only good mixed with Coke) and none compared to the flavor of Jameson. I am happy to report that they now sell Jameson Triple Triple (my overall favorite) in the States, but I wish they would also sell the Distillery Selection here - they only offer it at the Distillery 🙁. If we ever go back to Ireland, I'll stop at the Distillery and buy a case to ship to our house.

I drank my first shot of Jameson a few weeks back when I found myself in an Irish Pub in Springfield, MO. Ordered a flight, and found each shot to be simply better than the last. Two weeks later, we joined friends for a weekend away and I got a bottle at Macadoodles just to have my friends try it, and wound up drinking the whole thing myself. I'm usually a (Jim Beam distillery) bourbon fan, have been all my life, but I think I've actually found a new favorite in Jameson Irish!

Recently discovered that I love Jameson's!

Many, many years back I was Blessed to be introduced to Jameson by a fellow from the Old Country.  It has remained my favorite ever since. At wakes, weddings (no fancy balls...) it's always present.  This last St. Patrick's Day I shared a toast at graveside for a dear departed Irish friend.  It's part of life.

Smooth taste. Warm body. Perfection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been consuming John Jameson's Irish Whiskey for decades.  It's taste is unique and very satisfying.   Over the years I've tried many other whiskeys but they all failed to capture my desires like a nice healthy taste of me Jamesons.

From a real Irishman

My whiskey drink used to be as a mixer - whiskey and cola, whiskey sour, or Jameson and Ginger.  A few thanksgivings ago, my wife's aunt asked if I wanted some Jameson. I said "Sure - Jameson and Ginger sounds great!" Whether she didn't hear or didn't want to hear, she brought me a couple of fingers of Jameson Irish Whiskey in a glass. No water, no ice, no mixer.  At first, novice that I was, I had concerns that she expected me to slam it like a shot.  But, I saw her sip it after we clinked glasses, and I matched her. It kicked down the doors in my mind as to what a whiskey was. Now, I mostly drink whiskey neat, and Jameson is my go-to.

I buy at least 3 large bottles of Jamo a week  and the taste is always perfect the bottles are always sealed tight and don't spill in case they tip over in the car on the way home we are a jamo family and will continue to bring good spirits of Jameson into our home its our number one choice of beverage for daily drinks and shots

Extremely smooth and versatile if you're into adding mixers to it. Jamison and orange juice is my go-to, but I'll change things up every once in a while and put together an Irish Mule.
I was at a store one day, which does not carry Jamison, but in their 'Spirits' store, they have an Irish whiskey that the bottle resembles Jamison at a quick glance. I was observing the bottle in hand when another customer came up from behind me. She picked up two of the bottles to purchase, which, by the way, are very large bottles and at a very respectable price. She asked me if I was contemplating making the purchase. I told her yes because I love my Jamison. She said she used to be a Jamison snob until she was introduced to this 'off brand' and that there's absolutely no difference between the two products. She told me to just make the purchase and guaranteed that I would not be disappointed. I decided to go with it, thanks to that wonderful customer's input, and because of the the very large bottle and very respectable price.
I was excited to compare this off brand to Jamison, and the best way to do so is straight up. Apparently, the customer who highly recommended recommended this off brand and said there's absolutely no difference between the two products, has dead taste buds. I took one sip of it and poured the entire bottle down the sink. The taste was beyond terrible.

Nothing compares... NOTHING!!

I used to be a Bushmills drinker but my brother in law told me to give Jameson a try and I've never looked back. Don't get me wrong Bushmills is a fine spirit but Jameson I feel is even better. I'm especially found of the Stout variety! So keep them coming because I plan on trying them all!

Excellent Irish Whiskey

I bought a bottle of your classic whiskey around five years ago. I originally got it to just have a shot or two in the evening. However, it's so smooth and refined that instead I use it for toasts around holidays. My friends who usually prefer burbon are impressed with the depth of flavors this has. I've found it is good neat or with a small cube of ice. Just blown away with how this drinks more expensive than it is. Would recommend to anyone seeking to upscale their habits without breaking the bank to do so.

I love Irish Whiskey in general. And it's always good to know you can get Jameson in pretty much any bar anywhere anytime. I was at a Thai Fusion Restaurant last night and was pleasantly surprised by the fact that they had Jameson. They didn't know what “neat” meant but I was glad to help them out. Jameson - always spot on. ❤️🍎💋🥰🥃
