For a beginner whiskey drinker, I found Jameson to be a good starter. It doesn't have too sharp a bite or after taste, and is lovely to sit and sip with a piece of ice in the glass to cut the edge that is there. I found this good to drink both by itself and mixed in drinks as well. Reasonably priced too!

Jameson is good for anyone "not-into-whiskey", but whom would like to taste a shot of whiskey ... People consider Jameson to be good for these reasons: It's fairly cheap. It's a fairly smooth blended whiskey (a lower alcohol content than single cask whiskies), so it's more approachable.

Jameson is a harsher whiskey BUT making it is a very smooth alcohol. Its good in coffee or even bloody marys! it can be pricey but using it to socially drink when guest come over is a definite go-to for me you can mix it with a lot of different things that may sound nasty buy you cant knock them until you try them.

Jameson is my favorite whiskey by a long shot, no pun intended! So much smoother than other brands, and feel like a champ the next day. Feels and tastes lighter on the stomach than others, allowing maximum party mode. My favorite way to enjoy it is with ginger ale, and sometimes an orange slice. Mmmm... so good!

Really like this Irish whiskey. Goes down smooth and goes well with coke. It was what I expected it to be. Nothing could make this whiskey better but good company. Price wise it’s a bit much but so worth it. I definitely recommend this to all my friends. 

I only drink this as a shot. It is super strong and will have you feeling nice after a couple shots. This is my stepdads favorite whiskey. Decent along with mixers but we prefer to get it over with and quickly throw it back as a shot. Like most liquor it can be pricey but you get what you pay for, especially in terms of good liquor. 

Jameson is perfect. It is my drink of choice. I've been drinking it as long as I've legally been allowed to drink, and far before that when I was nipping out of my parent's stash. Jameson and lemonade, and can't forget an Irish Coffee, are my go-to drinks.

My absolute favorite alcohol of all time! Never thought I’d be a “whiskey girl” but this has changed my mind! I love mixing it with ginger beer to make a Tennessee Mule, but it is smooth enough that I can even take it as a shot. Perfect for drinking at the bars as well, as it is always stocked wherever you may be! jameson-irish-whiskey

I have tried all of the variants (Caskmates, Barrels, Etc.) and I keep coming back to the original. If I want spicy I go with a stiff Rye or a banging Bourbon. As the Irish go, smooth and sweet is Jameson original. The others cannot compare so far as my tongue says. So many whiskeys and I've invested the time to reveal the moods of my personal palate. Ten or so basic whiskeys top my list of standards and Jameson original is among them. In keeping with the guidelines, I won't mention specific competitors, but the top ten include 4 Canadians (three from the same manufacturer, including the Best Whiskey Ever), 2 Irish (including Jameson original), 2 Bourbons, a Japanese, and a Scotch. I have sampled nearly 200 different whiskeys and am proud to enjoy Jameson original.

I have never been a whiskey lover but i think my pallette has advanced. Theres only a couple of whiskeys i like and this is one of them. I wouldn't change anything about it. The value is great for what it is. I highly recommend it to everyone. I love this whiskey.
