Super Watch for Runners

I used to use the Forerunner series, and ended up with another model when someone gifted it to me. I recently went back to the Forerunner 55, and am so glad that I did; the watch is easy to use, has an amazing battery life, the GPS seems extremely accurate, and I love the "breathe" feature (which is not something I expected to love). I had used a touch-screen watch before, and was a bit worried about going back to using buttons, but it has been an easy transition. My previous watch would end up on different screens if I ran in long sleeves in the rain, as the fabric would get warm and the watch would interpret it as a "touch." No such problem here! I am so happy with this purchase.

Really good running watch

I got this watch for my birthday and the holidays and I couldn’t be happier with it. I finally upgraded from the Forerunner 35 and I’m loving all the new features it comes with. This is a solid affordable running watch with great features for the price.

I should’ve gotten it sooner.

I’ve recently decided to take my running a bit more seriously and am training for a half marathon. I had been using the vivomoveHR for three years and really liked it, but the forerunner is truly a running watch. I can download training programs, see much more data about how I run, can see it in the sunlight, and can go more than two weeks on a single charge. I absolutely LOVE this watch. I was a bit worried about how it would look, but it is not too bulky and looks fine on.

Everything I need in a watch.

This watch has everything I need to achieve my goals. The battery life has been incredible. Even after having the GPS running for several hours, I still did not need to charge the watch for several more days. The heart rate monitor, GPS, and pace are all spot on. Even though this is one of the "lower" models, it truly has everything I need. In as if it couldn't get any better, I have smacked it against trees, walls, and other objects. It has no scratches on the screen and has had no issues. It is a very durable watch!

Not bad

From what I’ve done so far, I can say that the Forerunner 55’s running GPS is pretty darn good, though I run in decently open spaces. I haven’t used it much for biking but we’ll see. The main complaint is the pool swims: if you want a swim tracker, pay for one. This watch has consistently been off by 400 meters plus and is all out of wack in the pool. Otherwise, it’s perfect for a starter.

Easy to Use

I’ve had this for about a month now. Very ease to use and lightweight. Had the Fenix 5 but realized I didn’t need all those features. If you are looking for something that’s easy to use and don’t need all those extra features this watch is for you. One thing I don’t like, wish they had a trail running activity. Love the suggested workout feature, use this everyday. You can’t go wrong with this watch.

It’s okay for a watch

I got this watch and I was really excited about the features it had but there are really only running workouts. It is also very hard to connect to my phone and any time I do it just disconnects soon after. But as far as a watch goes, it tells the time

Love It!!

I don’t adapt easily. I’ve had my forerunner 25 for 6 years and was very hesitant to change. But with my old watch getting more and more glitchy, I upgraded. It was like going from a rotary phone to the newest cell. At first, for like an hour, I was overwhelmed with all the features. I like easy. But by the next morning I was getting the hang of it, and every day after that I was like a kid in a candy store - look at this, that is cool, it can do that too?!? Again, I’m pretty non-tech savvy, but the buttons are easy to navigate, scheduling specific runs is super simple, and for a watch with amazing features nothing is tricky to figure out. Plus the battery life is fantastic! There’s nothing I don’t love about this watch. I couldn't be happier with my much needed upgrade!!

Fun watch

I received this watch as a replacement for my broken Forerunner 45s not long ago. I've enjoyed the different features, even if they have taken a while to get used to. I appreciate the extended battery life and the swimming activity tracker. Overall, a fun watch to have!

Good sport watch

This a good smart sport watch. Lots of different sports to track in detail with GPS. Battery goes for at least 5 days without GPS use. Easy to read outside, nice reflective screen. Though resolution is not very good when internal light is used but good enough for its price.
