Challenge to put together. One package of hardware missing. Had to improvise as it was the last step. After finding hardware that would work it ended up to be a ok unit. Don’t know if I would trust the weight that maybe put upon them in garage though.

I bought this to organize my kids garage. It is a well made and very good looking cabinet.putting it together was fairly easy as long as you lay out you parts and have room to do assemble it. The panels were labeled great and I liked there were extra pieces of hardware supplied.

Holes misplaced, misaligned or missing, causing insecure assembly. There are holes missing and misaligned throughout the component pieces. But by far the WORST EXAMPLE is that the screw holes for attachment of the door hinges are on the FRONT of the cabinet instead of the edges of the inside. Plus these USELESS HOLES only align with FOUR of the ELEVEN holes on the HINGES. This renders the doors IMPOSSIBLE TO ATTACH unless all new holes are drilled in the proper locations. There could not be ANY QUALITY CONTROL WITH THIS manufacturer. This seems like a scam because the manufacturer/seller no doubt knows of the extreme inconvenience involved with attempting a return.

Finished assembling the last 2 this evening. Great cabinet for the price. The people who are complaining about the cabinet being flimsy are expecting to have a fully welded 1/4” steel cabinet in their garage. This product is very well made for the price. To the people who are complaining about the doors lining up, there’s 10 screws per door with oversized holes for each screw. That’s 20 chances at getting it right. If the doors aren’t closing properly, it’s because you installed them that way. Very good instructions on how to assemble. It can be time consuming if you’re not good at assembling things and there are a lot of screws. However, that’s exactly what I expected because I looked at the picture of what I was buying. I read the reviews and the Q and A’s because when I spend money, I like to know what I’m buying. You can tell how many people don’t do this and why it causes unnecessary negative reviews. Just look at the Q and A section. It’s the same 3 questions over and over again. I couldn’t imagine submitting a question about a product without looking at previous answers. Not to mention that just about every question that’s answered is already addressed in the product description. Long story short, the negative reviews, in my opinion, are people expecting a thousand dollar cabinet for a couple hundred bucks and if you’re not capable of assembling a cabinet, don’t. Well worth the money.

These things are sweet for the price. I looked at home improvement store models, but these from Seville look best in class. They throw in the casters, which is a wonderful addition. The locking mechanism isn’t going to stop a motivated individual but is enough to stop a child from getting in. That’s all I was looking for. Great product.

Whenever I'm putting something together, I always run into alignment issues, but never with this company's products. After buying tons of their stuff over the years, I'm still amazed at the quality and ease of assembly. Even when I was dropping the shelves in place, I couldn't believe how accurate their design is, I didn't have to fight or finesse a single piece of anything they sold me.

We bought this a couple of years ago and it has held up great! I needed something in the garage to store chemicals (paint, stains, solvents, and cleaners, etc). The cabinet has a lot of space, so I now also store some of my larger tools in it as well. It was easy to assemble and it made out of quality materials. I love the large caster wheels. You can easily move it around and the wheels easily roll over the expansion joints in the concrete floor. It has held up incredibly well and you can't beat it for the price.

This portable storage unit holds quite a bit and it really is well made and strong. All the parts fit together perfectly without any reengineering. I hired someone through Sam's outsourcing partner to put it together and he was on time, knew what he was doing and saved me the frustration. This unit will last a lifetime!

I think this is a good product for the price. You'll easily spend another $100 for other brands of the same size cabinet. Sam's has the best price too. I bought four of these cabinets and can see the frustration others posted about the door alignment issues. When I assembled the first cabinet, I followed the directions to a T, but at the end the doors did not align and the right door wouldn't shut properly. I improvised, and for the following three, I instead loosely screwed in the BACK panels, then waited to install the top front corner and side brackets and instead installed the doors before installing the brackets and tightening the back panels as noted in the instructions (Installing the doors must be done without tightening all of the door hinge screws. Tighten the top screw just enough to hold the doors in place, then screw in the other screws just a couple of turns. This will allow you to adjust the doors up or down by unscrewing the top screw, adjusting, then tightening again to test door position and closure). Then once I was fairly certain the doors were lined up and closed properly, I secured all of the door hinge screws, carefully mounted the brackets and tightened up the back panel screws and the doors closed perfectly. I would buy these again, but would suggest the manufacturer change the directions slightly as the doors can be tricky if the cabinet is not square. TIP: Take your time with assembly - about 90 minutes or so. If you use a cordless drill (which I recommend to quicken the project) make sure the torque setting is very low to prevent mis-threading and possible screw breakage/bending any metal. There are straps at the top of the back of the cabinet to attach to the wall for safety which is nice, but I think as long as you weight the cabinet on the bottom there would be little chance of tipping. Wheels are extra large so easy to roll around, and look great. When assembling, protect the finishes by using the packaging styrofoam on the floor to assemble. Will update in the future if anything arises.

Cabinet is well made and sturdy. One of the pieces was a little defective and we received a replacement part very quickly. Seville Classics customer service was great and responsive. We purchased two of these cabinets. We are using them to store our gardening tools, spa supplies, and other gardening items. Spacious, yet are narrow enough to work on the side of our house.
