The solar panel charges it all day to light up at night. I love the layered style. It looks great on my patio. It was easy to put up with simple to understand instructions. It was easy to assemble…but be sure to scan all the directions before setup. It weighs approximately 20 pounds and is H 102in x W 108in x D 108in. The fantastic features of the solar panel, wind sensor, LED light and remote control need a little preplanning. The solar simply charges by the sun or a micro-USB charging port. The wind sensor has three speeds: 13, 17 or 21 mph. The LED light provides a soft glow for a little brighter than a moonlight effect for a romantic conversation or dinner. The remote control provides an option for the off and on of the light and the open and close of the umbrella. I love the wind sensor feature which closes the umbrella before you find yourself going out in a sandstorm to close the umbrella. The soft light provides illumination without any cords. The umbrella is made of Sunbrella fabric. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this great quality umbrella!

Installation was easy instructions were easy to read and follow.The 11 foot open spread covers my patio table nicely. I can even sit on patio when it raining. The remote control is a great feature no more cranking just push a button and your umbrella opens and closes so smoothly. The sun will provide all the charging you need with the solar panel located on top of the umbrella. I have the red color is full and solid goes great with my red seat cushions. This umbrella will provide years of summer shade on your patio.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Above, outdoor smart umbrella is beautiful. The red one, is a rich red, the fabric is thick and sturdy. We took the biggest one and I don’t regret it, everybody has shade without moving the chairs to stay covered. We first charged the battery through the micro-USB port, it seems that you don’t have to, the sun will provide the same result but we felt better charging it over night. Then we struggled with the remote pairing but at that time we didnt read the user manuel, so please, READ the user manuel before trying to make it work. The remote IS working, no need for new battery just read the manuel :). The umbrella is charging via a solar panel too and the remote control make it perfect to open and close the umbrella.It is so easy for such a big umbrella, no human assistance! No umbrella in the face or back pain!. There is a wind sensor just under the solar panel which automatically close the umbrella. When open, there are a remote holder that you can attach to the pole and a light which is really nice for late diner with friends and family. The base is not included. I love this umbrella, such a perfect addition for everyday.

With the weather warming up, I was worried that our days of dining al fresco would be numbered but an 11-foot umbrella sounded like a good solution. This umbrella came well-packaged in a sturdy box with a remote control, solar panel, spare battery, and a set of instructions. Assembly of the Above Height Series Smart Umbrella was very easy. I only had to attach the solar panel to the top of the umbrella and connect the lower pole to the bottom. The Above Height Series Smart Umbrella has a number of features that make it a great upgrade from my previous umbrella including: * A remote control that allows you to open and close the umbrella with the press of a button * A wind sensor that automatically closes the umbrella in strong winds * A solar panel that powers the umbrella's LED lights * A built-in battery that provides power for the umbrella's LED lights even when there is no sunlight I have been very impressed with its performance. It’s very easy to open and close with a push of a button on the remote control, and the wind sensor has worked great, automatically closing the umbrella in strong winds. The LED list is also very bright and provides plenty of light when dining outside at night. Overall, I am very happy with the Above Height Series Smart Umbrella. The umbrella operates open/close with a touch of button, has built-in solar panel to charge the leg light and most of all the umbrella also has a wind sensor that will automatically close it if it detects strong winds, which helps to prevent damage. This is probably the coolest outdoor umbrella or item I have ever owned, definitely recommend.

It is big enough to shade a good section of my patio and is tall enough that my husband is able to stand under it without hitting his head. Being able to open it by remote is so nice and I like it closes itself if it gets too windy.

It has an aluminum pole. It is 11ft. It is for outdoor large space area. It doesn’t come with a base but does require one. It comes with a remote to help open and close it with a push of a button. It a wind detection and closes the canopies on its own so that it doesn’t get damaged. It is fade proof , stain proof, water resistant, uv proof . Overall this smart umbrella is very nice to have!!
