This unit replaced a unit that was approximately the same size. The interior space is much greater, wonderful surprise. My only complaint is that the walls need backing, or reinforcing. They have some hollow areas behind them that if left not reinforced will move if pressure is applied. Otherwise, it is a perfect unit for a corner shower.

My goal was to fit a full bathroom into a 76" x 40" space, for a guest bathroom. The OVE corner shower (along with Signature corner toilet and small pedestal sink) did this beautifully! (Picture of my final self-designed bathroom below => ideas to create your own small-space solution!) I did have professional plumbers install it, so I can't comment on the difficulty of installation, but they did not have any problems. I bought the version with acrylic walls so that I would not have to tile the bathroom walls, and this solution works well. The 31" shower is small-- a very large-sized person would be pressed up against the glass-- so if you are expecting large-sized people to use the shower, I would recommend getting a larger size than the 31" one.

We are home owners for about 6 years, very handy but not pros in the very least. Decided to rip out a bath and replace with a shower basin. It is Very small. Great for small or spare bathrooms. Not bad to install. It definitely took two people but for folks that have never installed a shower stall it was not a large project.

We have a small bathroom and this unit was a great replacement for our 32” square shower enclosure. The assembly went smoothly. The side walls are secured to the house by screws at the juncture of the dot framing. It has not been a problem but surprising at the lack of attach points. The glass pieces weigh about 40 pounds each. The instructions for the base install calls for cement and I would recommend it. I think there would be soft spots in the shower floor without it.

This is a beautiful shower. We put it in ourselves... we are decent "do it your self people" and I have to say that when it came to the frame, some aspects were very difficult. NOTHING was marked. Now, I know we don't want stickers all over our beautiful piece, but some(easy remove) stickers on just the frame would have been a HUGE HELP. This is why We did not give it 5 stars. Once we got thru that challenge, hanging the glass door was a very easy task. All in all, we would buy again.

Bought two shower kits, one 32", one 36". I put the larger on together first and wondered why the walls had no real support and were inches away from the drywall behind. Then I put the 32" together and the instructions had been added to - including additional wood cross pieces that took up some of that empty space between the acrylic panels and the drywall. The small shower instruction made so much more sense - I wish I had dome that one first!

We are enjoying the nice shower and the rounded curves of the model. It did prove a bit challenging for my guy installing it because there’s a 1 inch lip that doesn’t allow the shower walls to sit flush against the actual walls. Therefore, he had to cut into the walls to push the shower walls as close and flush to the main walls as possible but the shelves are still flimsy and I don’t put a lot on them. Also found that you can’t properly caulk inside if you have both doors already installed. We did need to put shims underneath the doors where they connected to the shower pan because when the doors were open and close, it kept moving and pulling the caulking off the shower pan.

A difficult design to install. Way too many steps including attaching wood strips to the sheetrock to glue the walls to. Also the booklet that came with the unit didn’t mention most of the relevant information about the installation. Not a good product, I wouldn’t buy another.

I had a 28 x 28 " shower, so this shower is definitely a welcomed change. Mine has frosted glass, but I did not see this option in the Ove line up. I had it professionally installed, so did not have the hassles others did. (Also had a wall removed and the shower plumbing moved to the opposite shower wall in this small bathroom.). It works well and it was a great investment for my small space.

Beautiful shower pan with matching glass doors! Bought this at the big box store, and so happy I did. Metal hardware is solid, pan is gorgeous. Pay close attention to the dimensions, since the curve bows outward from where it meets the wall (e.g. the 36 inch shower sticks out 40 inches from the wall at the farthest point) -- so make sure it will fit in your space.
