Very strong fabric that does not easily break down or tear. I used it under my fruit trees and topped it with pine bark nuggets, and it performed exactly as I hoped. The roll size is generous, making it easy to cover a large area. Water drains through well without pooling, and I haven’t seen any weed growth since installing it. Even after removing it a year later, the fabric still maintained its original strength and color, which really impressed me. Overall, this is a great value product that performs as expected. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable weed barrier.

I have bought this product for the last few years. It is better quality than a lot of the stuff on the market and it is nice to have a large roll for landscaping beds and big gardens so you aren't having to splice and leave possible gap for weeds.

This is probably the best deal around for landscape fabric. Every place else charges twice as much. You get over 800 sq ft of cover with this fabric. It is strong and sturdy and works great.

This is the best landscape fabric for quantity and price. I shopped around everywhere online and local retailers and none beats the Membersmark value. Years ago it was $22, now its 32 for 225’ x4’ but that still beats other retailers and landscape yards.

Disappointed with both the product and customer service I purchased this weed barrier on May 2nd 2026 and laid it down under a layer of pea gravel in our backyard, hoping for a clean, low-maintenance look. It has only been two weeks, and I am already seeing numerous weeds pushing right through the fabric. It completely failed at its basic job. To make matters worse, when I went to the store to address this, the customer service team told me that in order to get a refund, I have to shovel up all of the pea gravel, remove the entire barrier, and bring the dirty, ruined material back to the store. Expecting a customer to undo hours of heavy labor just to return a defective product is absolutely insane. Very disappointed with the terrible quality of this product and the completely unrealistic response from customer service. Save your time, money, and back—buy something else.

In previous years I have purchased and used weed block from Sam's and it worked well. This weed block, however, started disintegrating very quickly and within a few months was in quite terrible shape. The sun pretty much broke it apart is my best estimate of what happened to it. It wasn't from heavy traffic or anything dragging on it to tear it. I do not recommend this product. Would give it 0 stars. Money and work/time invested putting it down was totally wasted.

No longer a contractor grade product. They changed it. I have bought this exact product before and was thrilled with it but they changed the manufacturer, clearly. The old one was heavy duty and did not rip. Landscape pins would not rip through. You could walk on it for a whole season, pull it up at the end of the season, and save it for the next year. NO LONGER THE CASE!!! The new version sold as the same product you can tear with your hands... unlike the old version. The new version is stretchy and twigs poke through. The new version will rip and pull of the landscape pins (I use different ones than the ones supplied because those are not good quality). The former version was so much superior and WAS contractor grade. The version they have this year is NOT THE SAME PRODUCT even though it is labeled the same. I want the manufacturer information for their old supplier so I can get the good stuff that used to be sold as this product. This is NOT contractor grade. You cannot walk on it when you put it between rows of plants without it ripping. You cannot take it up and reuse it year after year. I wanted to upload a video showing the difference between the old version and the new, both sold as the same product. How you can rip right through the new version easily and not the old one, but there is no way to upload a video. A picture would not show it at all... me trying to tear the old version and then how easy it is to tear the current version of this product. They got cheap and need to go back to the former manufacturer of this exact product. Or tell us who makes it so we can go by the product they used to sell under this name. That is the product that I want to buy, and they used to sell it, but they got cheap and now sell a cheap product as "contractor grade landscape fabric." It is NOT anymore. It used to be. Now it is just the same cheap landscape fabric you can get anywhere that rips and pulls apart and leaves shredded pieces in your garden!!!

I would not recommend. Weeds grew right through it after 2 weeks. Lots of work now for nothing.

We have been buying landscape fabric from Sam’s for about 15 years, it was one of the best on the market. We liked it, until the last 2 years. In the past, we would get a whole season, sometimes 2 years out of the heavy weight fabric. The last few seasons, Sam’s switched a light weight and we don’t even get 1 whole season. Tears easily, wind damage, weeds grow through. Very disappointed.
