I had the wrong mind set and perspective. I had purchased two of the first generation larger versions from a different online retailer several years ago and still love them. I saw this listing description and acted quickly. Some might say too quickly. Attached are photos to help other members get the correct perspective on size (MINI) and preview the Use and Care Guide that comes with the MINI solar tiki torch product. This review is the initial unboxing and does not include long-term performance and durability. When that data is available, this review will be updated. Just because my expectations on the size were incorrect, it should not detract from your purchase decision. The first generation that I have are twice the size and still in service after 5 years with the original batteries. The solar lens have hazing (oxidation), but otherwise fully functional. These lights and price point (~$3 ea) are consistant with competive multi-packs of the small 2 lumen pathway lights. I feel the flick has a decorative advantage. I have hopes that these cute little (MINI) versions will perform as well. The Use and Care Guide states there is a 1-Year Limited Warranty and provides the customer service team contact phone & email. Time will tell and I remain optimistic

Purchased to add subtle light and tropical ambiance to our nightscape backyard pool to harbor. Torches are very good quality and excellent value at this price point. The flames look real and “burn” steadily from dusk to dawn. Will be adding another set. Wish Sam’s offered the taller versions as well.

The 12 pack of solid lights make our house look so very elegant. The 12 pack were played out in the front of our house and wrapped around the walkway. They are very bright and make it easy to walk the pathway at night. They are easy to put together and they hold the. Garage over might

Very pleased with the product so far. Time will tell how long they last but so far so good. They were super easy to unpack and assemble. Hardest part was deciding where i wanted them placed. They flicker like a real tiki torch & give off enough light to guide a path & add a warmth to my front entrance.

These are well made torches with hard plastic stakes that should be durable. The instructions advice to avoid forcing the stake into the ground and instead wet the ground, so the stake goes in easily. The torch has led light strip with an on off switch. The battery is replaceable. They are quite tall too if thats what you are looking for. I would have preferred made in USA but its not. Other than that, the quality seems good and looks like they would last.

They are nice. I do wish they were brighter. Also wish they flickered a bit more. The color is a deep orange when they are on. They do stand out. Very nice for the walk way up to the house. Assembly is extremely easy, just remember to turn the on switch on.

This 12 piece solar, outdoor lighting kit presents itself as fun tiki torches. The 15 inch solar lights can be placed in the ground in a 12 inch tall position, or they offer the option to be placed with just the flame portion above the ground, about 8 inches in height. The lighted portion of the light simulates an amber flame. There is enough individual flame lights to safely line a sidewalk or accent a landscape area, and possibly accent a bit more where you need it. The lamps charge up quickly and maintain their light throughout the night. I prefer these lights that charge independently rather than a wired set. If anything were to go wrong with one light, we could continue to use the rest. We will be using them to light up and identify the hot tub area on the side of our home as well as accent a small landscape bed adjacent to the hot tub. This lighting kit seems to be a good quality for the price. If you’re looking for a lighting kit that simulates a flamed tiki torch, this is the kit for you.

Very nice, but much smaller than I'd imagined. Must get full sunshine during the day to light up after dark.

Love these small "flickering" lamps. These are smaller than the typical torch lights. Put them outside in NY during the winter and summer along the flower beds. Gives a little bit of interest to landscaping that is covered in snow. Love them.
