we absolutely love the clarity and colors on this tv, but navigating the software is extremely clunky! we had a roku tv and it was a walk in the park to navigate and when we needed to replace it we were drawn to the samsung because of what a beautiful and clear picture it had. the remote has got way too many buttons and they are all so close together that my husband is constantly pushing the wrong one because he has large man fingers. i have small fingers and i had a terrible time entering my password and email when trying to sign in to apps i already had. finding the apps was also a nightmare! if we had it to do over, we would probably buy another roku tv.

It will recognize all your devices instantly and if not it walks you through the entire process for manual set up. Best part is the remote automatically pairs and becomes universal no matter the device. The remote is simple and easy to use and I love the added ease of the application buttons. Samsung has created great picture quality not mention your TV automatically goes into to game mode. Overall just a great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV has amazing graphic quality. Adjusting the frame rate is not too complicated. Using the clarity settings can make the picture super realistic, or theater like quality. By default, the LED motion was on which made the picture super dark. The TV is in front of the window, so by contrast, the picture is darker than the outside light. Turning that feature off in the Clarity settings is much better. The small bevels make the TV look smaller than 50 inches, but 90% of TVs are like this so it's something you can't help if the market steers that way. Gaming with the TV is great. Smooth and responsive. The user interface is a little bit slower than expected but tolerable. Luckily, it's easy to add apps, and sign-in to the apps WITHOUT putting in passwords into the TV itself. I am glad the remote has numbers and useful buttons like popular streaming services. However, I am wondering if I can customize the ABCD buttons to whatever apps I want. But the good thing is that without programming the remote, it controls the volume to the DVD player since I use it to watch TV through the Xbox. Overall, the TV has great graphics and clarity are great for gaming. Being connected through the ethernet port is best to have the best connection possible. I recommend this TV for anyone who want a simple TV with an external source of entertainment. The slightly slow interface is off putting, but it's not so bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the TV but it could definitely use some more apps and I had an issue with the remote where I ended up having to buy another. I wish these TVs would have a force close button for apps as sometimes stuff like Netflix freeze up

the remote control works more slowly than any tv we've ever had, to the point that we sometimes think it's not working at all. the response from the tv can take easily 30 seconds after we press and release a button on the remote. we're slowly learning to adjust our expectations, but wish we didn't have to accommodate the tv, rather than it accommodating us. the lack of a printed instruction manual is a huge inconvenience to us, since our computer is in the opposite end of the house, and to look at the manual we downloaded requires a long walk both ways, which is borderline unacceptable.

i'm very satisfied with my tu7000 tv purchase overall. i'd have to say that i'm disappointed with the smart functionality. i don't like the fact that i can't customize the “home” view by removing apps that i'll never use. what i strongly dislike is the “smart” remote supplied with the set. the buttons are too small in my opinion. i ended up plugging my roku + stick into the tv and using their ui and remote.

We have had great experiences with Samsung TVs and other Samsung products in the past and will continue to use them in the future. Sure there are more expensive models with better image quality but unless they are side by side youre never going to notice. I play my PS4 through the tv as well and I love the automatic game on sensor to enhance the image. I also love the Tyzen operating system with all the apps and the 100+ free channels of Samsung TV. Its easy to add new apps and update the TV's software. I've had this TV now for 6 months and absolutely love it. I have had no issues or problems with it and would definitely recommend it!
