it comes with faux cable programming that resembles a mirror dimension of tv. odd, and almost laughable. you will turn the tv on thinking you're hitting your cable plan, but in reality you're in this b-rated tv hell. you'll set it up to your wifi, only to have it disconnect *while using the wifi” and the only thing ive seen work is to turn off the tv and hold the power button on the remote untill the tv turns on again. you may decide to download an app like pandora. be prepared to hit “install” about 50 times before it actually installs it. you then realize it only has one hdmi port, so your options are to hook it up to an av system so you can have apple tv and cable, or just deal with the poorly designed, buggy smart tv app.

Wasn't expecting much from a Samsung product, but was pleasantly surprised! Gorgeous picture, native apps are easy to use, and remote is very intuitive. Only negative is there are only 2 hdmi ports. In todays day and age 3 should be th absolute minimum. However overall I am tremendously satisfied almost a year in and will definitely be buying more Samsung in the future.
Screen is too dark.
the screen is so dark even with the brightness turned all the way up. the mandalorian on disney+, fargo on hulu, and minority report on samsung tv plus are all unwatchable because of how dark the screen is. i've researched this problem and it appears many others have experienced this problem as well, see here: https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/tv/tu7000-too-dark/td-p/1890701

If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright you can try Dynamic Picture Mode, or manually adjust the Brightness settings to your liking. Dynamic Picture Mode will make pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to: Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic Or manually adjust the Brightness and other settings to your liking. Go to: Settings> Picture> Expert Settings You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV, according to the ambient light level, to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can select Minimum Brightness to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update. Started bad, got worse
when we set up the tv it had a bright spot on it. we called for service right away instead of returning it because we figured we would give samsung a chance to fix it and track any manufacturing issues they may have. the screen went totaly blank 3 days before service was scheduled to arrive, only a few weeks after purchase. the repair went very well but about once a week we have to unplug the tv because it gets stuck in a mode we cant get out of. here we are 2 months into ownership and we have to power reset the tv. i really do not like the operating system, it seems to get stuck in samsung tv plus or other modes and you can't switch to another mode/app. most recently we had to totaly reprogram it. awesome picture but functionality is a big let down.

Awful UI and software logic.
i unboxed the tv, turned it on, was super confused by all the ads and apps that were preinstalled. i finally found the app store. found the spectrum app to download, select “download”…. error popup shows reading, “ not enough room. consider creating some space by removing some apps.” i checked the setting and sure enough it was 90% full i proceed to the 78 preinstalled apps select “sling” click delete…. error popup shows up “basic set of apps on your device annot be deleted”. all that to say, this isnt a normal smart tv, its a tv that samsung uses to push their software as a service and if you dont use their service, they will make it painful until you give in and get their services.
Very disppointed
have been a samsung tv owner for years. was excited about finally getting the 65” for our cabin. so disappointed. picture is fuzzy, too dark, picture does not fit the whole screen. set ip wrong you say... nope! we've tried everything to “tune” it properly. not at all what samsung has been known for. family now gathers in my bedroom to watch on my hisense.

Great…except the ghost living in it
love this 65" tu7000 smart tv. clear, light, easy set up. replaced my 55” samsung in livingroom….but theres a ghost. at random, the tv will turn itself on. this occurs at times like 1am or 3am, which is great when you have a slight view of a suddnely glowing livingroom from bed. but also i'll come home from work at 4:30pm and find the tv on. ive began checking through the smart app of the tv is powered on theoughout the day, and have found it on. why?! never this problem woth my other samsungs..and no, this isnt a product of me turning on other samsung tvs and it turning on 65”, too. tried that.
