Picture too dark!

this tv is the worst picture ever. it changes every time i turn it on no matter what i put the settings on i can't see dark scenes 100% of the time. very disappointing. we've had a samsung for 25+ years and now i'm questioning whether we should go with a different brand. we are turning this tv back in today, 3 days after receiving it.

Samsung is aware of the problem, and a new firmware update will be released soon to address this issue. Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. If there aren't any new updates, select OK to exit. You may want to enable automatic updates for conveniences. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update. Crystal Clear

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first brought this television I was only using it for viewing regular programs but there is so much more. I use it for just about everything, streaming videos, and gaming is an incredible experience. The music comes out clear and I hear every note, every beat. So, I hooked it up to my surround sound system and it's as if I'm in a theater at home. The clarity of the picture is fantastic.

Samsung's TIZEN Smart TV - Best features & UI

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best TVs we have and it's been really good since we got it. The features like the apps (YouTube, Netflix, PrimeVideo, HBOMax, Spotify) is great. It has an amazing 4K viewing experience with great picture detail. The speakers are great with Dolby enabled giving it that extra sound experience, unlike other TVs. The Apple AirPlay on this TV is very fast and easy to connect, I either use my Mac or iPhone and it is very high-quality streaming. I love the remote and it's got some smart keys on it at the click of a button. The USB and HDMI slots at the back are useful if you want to connect to any media devices, gaming consoles, and HD devices. The button at the bottom of the TV is quite useful if you can't find your remote and want to do something on the TV you could use the button. I like how you can connect Bluetooth devices for audio on the TV if you want to connect headphones to listen by yourself. Overall, an excellent product by Samsung again. It ticks all boxes in features, pictures, sound, viewing experience, friendly UI & installation.

Satisfied overall, but..........

Everything is great with the TV. Overall, I'm satisfied. However, the Audio will not stay in sync with the Samsung Soundbar I purchased with it. It always has to be re-calibrated depending on if you are watching Cable, a streaming App or Gaming. I always have to fiddle with the sound delay. Hope I can get a remedy for this from Samsung.

Every night is a beautiful movie night

Its Ok

i cant say there's anything that i love about this tv. i was used to the roku tcl that we had, and the ease of choosing an app or live tv. with this one, the remote doesnt let you click fast through anything, and if you try to, it skips way ahead. the tv turns on by itself almost every night which is incredibly annoying to have to go into the app and turn it off again. some of the apps make you use the phone app to stream to the tv when n the tcl that was never an issue.

Oooo: I'm sorry to hear your experience with Samsung's TU7000 TV has fallen short of your expectations. 1. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds. 2. Check the power cord to see if there is any visible damage. 3. Plug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet. If you were using a surge protector, bypass it for now and use a wall outlet. 4. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. 5. Disable the Power On with Mobile option. TVs that can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off. If the TV continues to turn on by itself continuously, please contact our Samsung Customer Support. Call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Clarity Supreme

The remote is easy to use and on screen menus are easy to follow as well. The picture quality is awesome and makes watching movies an experience instead of a viewing. Great app options

Great Features

Excellent Device, intergrade with my Home system was seamless and easy. Ambient mode is a Plus. Picture has a dazzling effect and totally controllable. Google assistant or Apple is work around, haven't intergraded into my Nest network. Although, the Samsung app will show all my cameras. I'm very impressed with the TU7000 and all my T.V s have been Samsung.
