Nice TV, but not a very bright picture

everything works on the tv, but the picture is dimmer than my last samsung. i even turned the brightness all the way up, and it still has a dim look. if you are going to buy make sure you see how it looks in the store first. that was my mistake. wont make it next time

Hi Clay, Thank you for purchasing the TU7000 TV and for your review. I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the brightness levels of your picture. If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright you can try the different Picture Modes or manually adjust the Brightness settings to your liking. Dynamic Picture Mode will make pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to: Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic Or manually adjust the Brightness and other settings to your liking. Press the HOME button on your remote, then navigate to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV, according to the ambient light level, to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can select Minimum Brightness to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings>Support>Software Update. I've purchased cheaper brand smart TVs like the Hisense Roku for example and it has all the apps available to download , I was surprised that Samsung doesn't have all apps , so therefore I had to spend extra money to purchase a firestick so that I can get the apps I need , other than that the tv is great I would recommend.

Awesome TV

Great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the 60 inches because it was the one close to the size I previous had, the picture is so clear. I like the settings that I can do for whatever I am watching. I like that I can play my Apple Music also. The best tv I have purchased.

Tv picture is pretty good, def some issues though

The issue I have is that the airplay mode is terrible and struggles constantly with the tv and I continually have like a strobe affect that happens when I start gaming and I have to unplug and replug my hdmi cable. The sound is quite nice though and it is nice and bright and runs smooth overwise for gaming and like sports!

Samsung 65"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the largest screen size I have ever purchased. It is used mostly for cable TV and streaming services. The TV has worked great without any issues. The screen size is the perfect size for our family room. While we frequently use cable with the voice remote the apps from Samsung were easy to setup and very convenient.

Crystal Clear

I love the fact that I can connect it seamlessly to my other Samsung products and it also connects to other Android devices as well. My TV is very user friendly. Also I love that it comes with its own television guide and lots of channels so it feels like you have instant cable. The price for the TV was awesome as well. I plan to buy another Samsung TV for my bedroom in the near futurem

Great Overall Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall my experience has been neutral as I've owned the product for only around two-three months and upon turning on the screen one day there was a pinkish/redish tint to everything. It had seemed as if the brightness had increased too as pictures and images had blurred together and were no longer decipherable from each other. As far as before that, I had enjoyed it for watching and streaming movies or TV shows because the picture and colors are amazing. It also is acceptable for living room gaming as there is very little input delay but as far as refresh rate it could use some slight improvements. It wasn't intended for primarily gaming so it isn't a big concern compared to dedicated displays at higher price tags.

Please check that your TV has the latest firmware update, which should resolve this specific issue. To update directly from your TV, press the HOME button on your remote. - Go to SETTINGS (gear icon) > Support > Software Update > Update Now - Your TV will check for the update and should start downloading the update. After the update is installed the TV will shut down and restart. Once the TV restarts, press and hold the Power button until the TV turns off and back on. If your TV is not connected to the internet, follow these steps to update the firmware. - You can find the update (version 1301.5) at: samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/crystal-uhd-tvs-tu7000-2020 - Extract the firmware to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.) - Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV. - Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes. - The TV will install the update and then restart. - Once the TV restarts, press and hold the Power button on your remote until the TV turns off and back on. Good Quality for Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the quality of the tv is pretty good for the price. the picture is clear and the colors are nice. it shipped quickly, and i am happy with it. i did however receive a broken remote when it came. the remote worked for about 20 minutes and then it stopped working and the batteries got very hot.
