Review my tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best Tv I've Ever Had... I have owned a few other "smart" TVs prior to this one, and I would consider those to be "dumb" TVs! The clarity and picture on this TV is amazing.... love the sound n for the price i considering a great tv...

Overall an okay tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV has great quality but an issue that many may face is related to utilizing various apps and the color quality. If a dark scene is present and you are likely to see nothing. I resolved this by purchasing a firestick but not something desired when a smartTV is purchase to workaround this. But again, an overall good TV.

Great rob to own

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like buying the latest TVs, I'm a movie buff who enjoys good quality tv. This tv did not disappoint. Picture quality is great, brightness sensor, voice control has no issues. Great value for the price. One remote does everything you need. Easy to set up. Not bulky. Looks great in my room.

Great TV and Interface- would purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV very clear and menu is easy to navigate. There are apps for every streaming service you can think off and the process to download/move apps is simple. I love my TV. Two complaints- The remote arrows and enter button are small and oddly shaped. I also didn't like the how the keyboard showed more than one letter when you hovered over the letter you want, but you can turn that off.

Great Image Quality, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size of the screen is great and the image quality is sharp, and crisp. 4K content looks great on it. The baked-in "smart" tv experience is lacking. It is slow, and you have a very small hard-drive in it. I plugged in an Apple TV 4K and have been very happy since.

Look for the QLED Samsung instead.

Purchased the Samsung UN65TU7000FXZA 65 in. 4K Crystal UHD TV. Had it a couple months now and overall it's just okay. For the cost of this t.v. I would recommend a QLED 4K Samsung instead or Sony 4K uhd. Read other reviews! Pros: The size is true to screen. The screen is very close to the edges and that is a nice feature. Connectivity easy enough for all ages. Setup is fairly simple for WiFi or wired. Pretty lightweight and easy to move around. The Sound quality is decent. Neg: Remote buttons are too close together. Big, To many buttons as well. The legs are too far apart. Needs a center stand. Sounds okay but needs a sound bar. Then it's nice when paired with the TV. Ports; needs 2 usb, 3 hdmi and most importantly needs to not be in a recessed small square as it's preventing a lot of devices from connecting to them without a flexible extension cable. “Picture” difficult to get the settings right. After about 3 weeks I finally got it as close as I can but still have yet to get the picture right! It's either jittery, fuzzy, blurry or cloudy and back in forth between all of the above. Movies you can get almost spot on unless it's action ones. Sports or any flick with a lot of action you will have to readjust settings again to see it more clearly. No matter how many times I've tried to change the settings including resetting and not changing almost anything it always has a slight cloudiness, or fuzziness, or blurry ness and it just never stays at where it should. I am a huge sports fan and part time gamer. Hundreds of reviews and videos on how to get the settings close as you can and I would recommend you look them up. If you are a sports fanatic or gamer as well I would go QLED Samsung as it's highly recommended for both uses. This is a decent spare room TV as I recommend looking for their slightly higher end Tv's for main living area.

Hi Idaho Redhead, We appreciate your purchase and detailed review of the TU7000 TV. I have a few recommendations for you that may resolve the issue you are experiencing with a distorted picture. First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. For optimal motion image performance, you may want to adjust the picture clarity setting by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings. - Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off - Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched - Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction. It's also possible the issue may be due to not connecting correctly with an external device. Please check your connection with these steps: 1. Disconnect and reconnect the power cables and HDMI cables on the back of your TV, then unplug the power cord and plug it back into the wall outlet. 2. If the external device supports UHD video, use a dedicated HDMI cable (4K) for HDMI video playback. 3. If a component cable is used, make sure that the colored connectors are connected to the matching connectors on the external device and the TV. 4. Check the cable connection if you use a set-top box. The cable you need to check depends on the type of set-top box. 5. Make sure that your access point is connected to the Internet. If not, disconnecting and reconnecting its power cable may be required. 6. If the problem persists, check the video output settings in the settings menu of the external device, and ensure that your TV supports the video output mode. Please note that the compression of video content may cause picture distortions, especially in fast-moving pictures from sports programs and action movies. - If the signal reception is weak or poor, screen distortion may be visible, but it is not a malfunction. - Mobile phones used close to the TV (within 3.2 ft) may cause noise on analog and digital channels. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~ Samsung Advisor

Ecosystem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I'm working on my editing I can use the AirPlay with all of the devices I have to check the quality on the beautiful Samsung screen. The picture the tv displays is very real like, just a pleasure to watch movies on. The one I have is also really thin so it's all screen. My next mission is to get a few more.

This product is excellent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is my second Samsung and it is amazing. It was extremely easy to set up. It picked up on my firestick, my new Blu-ray player immediately and I didn't have to put in endless codes to make anything connect. I no longer have cable TV and rely on the internet to watch TV. The TV station guide has many enjoyable stations and even includes weather and news channels. Overall I think this TV was a perfect purchase for me. Not overly expensive and the quality is there. Thank you Samsung

Great features lots of ports

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 50in. Version and it is awesome for gaming, wathing hdr 4k movies on my firestick. Has lots of hdmi ports. Unfortunately not hdmi 2.1, but does have ALLM mode where it streets the device that's connected and sets up the best configuration. I love the remote. Voice control works well. Especially if you have samsung eco system ie fridge, camera, etc. You get notifications right on your screen if you choose. Also has ethernet and wifi. S a dly the wifi is only wifi 5 so no takjng advantage of wifi 6 if you have a router. Id recommend ethernet to get best connection. You can download apps like the steam stream app if your a gamer and play. Also there is other apps thay you can download Hbomax, fubo, etc. Overall for the price you get a really nice tv. Wish i would have gotten the bigger one being that 50 is pretty small for my living room. But still cannot beat the quality
