Customer reviews for SAMSUNG 43" Class TU700D-Series Crystal Ultra HD 4K Smart TV UN43TU700DFXZA forCheap TV but u get what u pay for
this tv is inexpensive. the picture is decent unless you're watching sports or movies with fast moving objects. the picture gets temporarily blurry where the fast objects are. also, the smart hub and remote control response are awful. the tv comes with a bunch of apps already downloaded and you can't remove them if you don't want them, nor can you relocate them in the smart hub. so, the remote and tv don't communicate well, and the smart hub is full of apps we don't use. this makes for extremely frustrating experiences every time we use the tv. there is nothing interfering with the remote signal that we can find. other than those issues, the tv works fine.

Love the clarity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with the picture on this unit. I want to give 5 stars but I cannot because the user setup is a pain and I still haven't figured out how to set favorites, etc. It has way too many included channels that I don't want. For example the default on startup is a hunting/fishing network. Come on!!! What small percentage of buyers want that! I don't. It takes too much time and effort to set this up the way I want. So I know how to get where I want but refuse to fight to do much else.
One of the best tv purchases ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tv for my families new home. It fits perfectly in our living room and the 4K graphics make it feel like we're really at the movies. I am so happy with my purchase and will continue to buy Samsung brand tvs.
Good deal
Great picture at a really good price! I would've given it more stars but, once again, the Samsung remote has issues. I have Spectrum (no choices yet in my area) and the remote numbers, including the pre channel button, are inoperative. It is a huge hassle to change channels!! Spectrum and Samsung both blame each other but will not rectify the issue…….
Hi Fred, Thank you for your feedback and review of the Samsung TU7000 TV's remote. Please know we are here to help you. Please try the below troubleshooting steps. First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support > Software Update. Also, ensure that the cable box is close to the IR sensor on the Samsung AU8000 TV. Next, we recommend ensuring that you are utilizing Anynet+. With Anynet+, you can control external devices that are connected to your TV with HDMI using your TV remote. To turn on Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC), go to: Settings > General > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC). If your cable box does not support HDMI-CEC, you will not be able to use Anynet+. If you continue to have issues, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Very Happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this Samsung TV! It is nice and large. The picture is clear. The colors are great. The sound quality is crisp and clear. The remote is easy to use. The set up and installation were extremely easy. I love that Netflix is a programmed key on the remote. The installed apps are a nice feature making is easy and fast to find what I want to watch. There are a lot of apps too! There is a 'game' app that has tons of different games to play. I haven't played them yet; however, it is nice to know they are there and that there is a good variety of games. I have not been able to find anything about 'voice control' on the remote or in the manual, so I am not sure what that is. I also have tried to figure out how to use my Amazon Alexa with the tv, but have yet to find any information on how that works.
Absolutely Frustrated and Let Down
Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from the 4K Crystal series. I bought this TV about six months ago. Everything looked great in the store but once I got it home I discovered that without whatever picture they were using for the display was obviously super bright. At home the picture was dark and murky. I went through all the usual suggestions on the internet and got it to brighten some, but my 4k videos were still so dark they were impossible to enjoy. I finally found a website that told me how to adjust the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) and it fixed everything! Oh happy day! Then came the latest software update and the wonderful and beautiful picture went away. The update keeps you from getting into the menu for the PWM under the 2D menu. I now have a big dark rectangle sitting in my living room right before Christmas.
Hi WInk, We appreciate your feedback on the TU700D TV regarding the image quality. I'm sorry that you are not satisfied with the Brightness. Please know we are here to help. First, you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings. You can max it at 100, allowing it to stay at the brightest level. You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the Brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to: Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Samsung UTV Just a TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is the main one used in lining room. Unfortunately it looses ability to pick up my internet box that is sitting 5 ft away on a vibrant basis. I am constantly having to rest my TV in order for it to pick up my internet, also having to rest set because my HDMI ports also loose the ability to read. If it did not have these issues it would be a beautiful TV. Has great color and clear picture. Volume sucks thou. Have to turn volume shy high to hear it. All in all, I would not but this TV again sadly because I am a Samsung person. All my electronics and phone are Samsung.
Remote buttons too small, otherwise great TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality and sound are excellent. The only issue we have had is that the remote buttons are too small, especially for playing back recorded shows. We actually added a fire stick to the TV because the remote is much easier to use for my wife who has arthritic fingers. We have had very good reliability with the Samsung TVs we have bought over the years.
This TV has been the best one to date by far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's amazing quality when I connect my Xbox to play or stream movies to watch. It can power on my Xbox and work as it's remote without even being it. Just great quality over all and completely satisfied with this buy My kids absolutely love it as well thank you
Love My Samsung
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it, the sound and the picture quality is Amazing, connecting to Alexa and all my devices was a breeze, I love listening to music on my TV. Great deal for the size, was easy on my pocket. Samsung forever.
