Beautiful picture for such a large screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We watch cable TV shows and movies, sports and streaming series. I do not like how difficult it is to set the shut-off timer. I hate the fact that this TV shuts itself off randomly, just like my last Samsung. Will be calling for warranty service.

Hi Qantas77, Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU7000 TV. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV turns on and off repeatedly. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue: 1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection. 2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable. 3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. 4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. The TV will likely need service if the issue persists after these steps. Please contact us so that we can better investigate your issue and assist you with a solution or replacement. not for old schoolers

my samsung has a great pic sound ok no rca plugs for my sony surround sound remote is jacquard to use the arrow buttons at the bottom prob made for petite hands but the pic is is great my only advice is to get the 7.1 surround also and when i got it home a small piece on rt hand corner was chipped prob happend at factory but plays great so prob gonna be very durable

Awesome quality!

Many Perks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our TV was old. It was time to do an upgrade as we felt we were living in the dark ages settling with what we had for 14 years. We decided on a 50" Crystal UHD and we are not disappointed. The picture is amazing, the added smart TV functions and apps included are a bonus! There are many, many free channels ready to go. We are able to directly access many subscriptions directly to the TV. No added devices, no messy cords. The price...amazing. The sound is pretty awesome as well. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for an upgrade that fits the bill of everything you need.

Love my new tv

I can easily get to whatever app or streaming service that I need to get to. The color and clarity of the TV is very clear and concise. It has a sleek design that looks very modern and updated. Crystal clear viewing experience!

crappy software

I've had this tv for a moth now, picture is great for a inexpensive tv, But only 2 hdmi inputs is not great. Also I have spent hours upon hours with tech support trying to update the firmware, this tv is on version 2111, there are 2 later updates but this tv will not update. I'm thinking of returning it and spending abit more for a sony.

On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to Support > Manuals & Software > Find your TV model. 2. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.) 3. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV. 4. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes. 5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software. I Expected Better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I also own a Samsung curved 65” 8 series SQLED and absolutely have loved it for over 3 years. So, I expect quality from Samsung. This Television, while the picture is pretty amazing, is far from the quality of my other, and it's things that don't make sense. The feet, for those of us that prefer not to hang our TVs, are cheap and ugly. Seriously, such a small detail that makes a world of difference. The remote is cheap and hideous. The buttons are inconveniently placed, as well. The operating system and user interface are pretty much garbage. Once per week, I have to unplug my television and then power it back up, because the picture goes to crap or only half the screen is viewable. But, it says my software is up to date. Again, when it's working properly, it has a great picture and fills a room, at 75”. I hope Samsung goes back to the quality they're really known for.

I am sorry that you are experiencing issues with your TV needing a reset even though your firmware is up to day. Your TV has several self-diagnosis tools built in that can help solve problems with signal, network, picture, or sound. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care You may also want to clear out your TV's temporary storage space by pressing and holding the Power button for 6 seconds. Love this TV.

Love my 65 inch Samsung smart tv!

I bought this tv back in December 2021. Best purchase ever! Thought it was going to be too big for my space but not so. Beautiful picture, so clear. Loves it! This tv repalced a smaller Samsung and I do have a 50 inch Samsung in my basement. So that says I love this product. No problems at all.
