Almost a perfect Smart TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV has 90% of the features I was looking for: affordable, smart, beautiful display, energy efficient, auto-brightness, etc. However, it desperately needs a bunch of new apps to watch all of my favorite TV shows from my cable subscription. I think I will have to buy an Apple TV or Amazon Fire stick to get what I'm still missing.

Awesome 70 inch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is amazing its my first 4k TV. It plays video games great and streams TV show and movies flawlessly. The bright colors are great as well. The only complaint I have is when Netflix shoots shows in the dark it's hard to see on my TV. It's probably my fault for not having proper lighting. Overall awesome tv.

great product

I would say the picture is extremely clear. The Smart TV aspect has all of the Apps you would want for your TV. I was not sold on buying a large TV however now that we have this TV I am so happy we made the purchase.

Great picture quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn't ask for better! My crystal UK tv is just what I needed. The picture quality is amazing. Friday nights have turned to movie nights without the need to go to the movie theaters. The screen is wide enough to see every part of smtge show/movie I'm watching. Best of all, the sound quality is better than I expected. There isn't a need to raise the volume too high. The tv also features constant notifications so you won't miss an update. Overall, I'm pleased and happy with the quality and features of my new tv!

I love the picture so clear and precised

Great picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung tv has a great picture. The image really is crystal clear. This is a great option for a inexpensive tv. The remote has some apps shortcut buttons for quicker access. The tv itself has a bunch of preinstalled apps and even a great feature to be able to watch free movies and tv shows. It was fairly easy to set up but was a bit heavy so it took 2 people. All in all it definitely exceeded my expectations based on the price point.

Good hardware, as always... but terrible software

have a 55" samsung purchased in 2019, software is fine. this 58" in 2020, is extremely obnoxious. don't need tv apps or streaming because the tv is connected to a pc. thus don't want to press guide or exit button twice to get rid of home menu every time. just want a tv tuner and pc monitor. samsung needs to allow disabling some or all "smart" features. reset tv to remove my previous wireless settings, hoping all that junk would then disappear with it. instead the home menu along the bottom 20% of screen is now replaced with terms and conditions banner. and software interprets a single quick click of the remote's arrow button as being pressed multiple times. same behavior on samsung and logitech remote. location of inputs/outputs should be near center. had to reroute system cables.

Confusion

i am a great samsung fan. entire family appliances are samsung. but this tv not giving me good calibrarion. defaults are not good. tried 3 days unable to succeed with good calibration. will try another two days. then decide to increase or decrease rating.
