through no fault of the product itself the interface is horrible. we have an lg tv that for a similar price that we paid has a remote that you can talk to is adaptive and learning and programming your favorite apps and requires no account. to download a simple app for a television subscription service we had to login and set up an account with samsung. and then setting up live tv for our area was ridiculously difficult. we are young and very technology savvy. our other tvs are superior to this one in both quality, remote and display.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality of the tv is phenomenal. It's true to its name being crystal clear. You are able to view full picture quality from all angles. The tv is extremely sleek and thin. The back of the tv has a modern pinstripe finish. I mounted the tv on a tv stand and it was extremely light and easy to do. I love there is hardly any bezel around the screen. The audio seems standard to my other smart tvs, nothing to spectacular but that's to be expected. The remote has dedicated buttons to quickly go to netflix or prime video. I really enjoy all of the free tv apps. However with having so many options the tv does lag while scrolling thru the menus. Overall it is a great tv to watch movies and play video games on. I also would of liked more hdmi ports to support more devices being connected to the television. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung has always been my choice in television. I have had other brands like Sony or Phillps. Samsung has an excellent picture, though I still feel it struggles with blacks or darker scenes. My television has an ambient light feature to adjust but does not help much with darker scenes. I own a few Samsungs, and I am satisfied with them, but they all struggle with sound. I have an old CRT television, and I can say I get better sound out of that. I have adjusted the sound settings, which there are not many, but to no avail. It seems that most modern televisions want you to but a soundbar or external speakers to get the best or even proper sound, instead of having a good sound to start. The television is used with Cable, Blu-Ray, and streaming services, but the voice and lighter/quieter sounds are never crisp or clear. I have to turn the captions on when I watch to make sure I did not miss anything. Even worse when there is an accent or language outside of English. Fundamentally, the picture is good but sound bad.
