Decent 4k TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the TV mainly for streaming movies and series, watching blu-rays, and PS4 gaming. The picture quality is great, sound is good, and Game Mode works well for video games. There is a good selection of built-in apps for streaming. But there are white lines that sometimes appear on the sides of the screen. They can be pretty distracting.

LOVE THIS TV!!!!!

we purchased this a little weary based on a handful of reviews, we decided to go for it seeming there are many more 5 star reviews than anything with such a great price?! we were able to finance through afterpay which made it way affordable ! we have had it for a few weeks and we love it! the remote is slim & small, navigating is so easy and when it comes to downloads, forget about waiting forever!!! i even downloaded the app on my phone and am able to access everything the remote can! we use our hotspot to stream youtube, pandora, netflix and more!! also have an antenna connected and this tv picked up way more channels than the other ones we have had! kudos to samsung for another excellent product! you will not be disappointed!

It's a television...

this television is great overall... when it's working. today the screen went dark and it's trying to turn itself off and on and the red indicator light flashes. this television is @ two years old and this is the second time with the same failure. it took 2 weeks to get home service repairs last time and it was still under warranty. hopefully, i'll be able to find my purchase receipt and it will be under warranty still. if it isn't, i won't replace it with a samsung.

Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue: 1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection. 2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable. 3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in. 4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software. Great Retirement Gift

i retired a few months ago and my oldest daughter and her husband bought this for me as a retirement gift. it replaced a 48" samsung from 2007 that was working great. anyway, i love the new television. great picture and it looks great on the wall. i have a separate surround sound system and it matches well with the tv. it is a great retirement gift.

This TV IS AMAZING!

The quality is amazing & I haven't seen another tv that compares. My daughter enjoys it as well because of how big it is. It fit perfectly on our wall & is lightweight. I would purchase it again if I needed to. I definitely recommend thi Samsung TV.

Wonderful picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality is outstanding in my opinion. Even though I am using rabbit ears for the antenna, everything comes in so clear and good. Since its a smart TV we also use other streaming features which has outstanding quality. The remote and other features are pretty easy to use and kind of fun. The only downside unfortunately is watching some Disney âž• movies which come in dark. But in a dark room, its manageable. I decided to down grade the size of my tv from another brand that was 55" to this 50" because of the picture quality and ease of use of the television and the remote. Absolute love Samsung and all of its products

Flicker Issue

i purchased 50" tv tu7000 before 2 month and only after 10 days it started flickering a lot i complained to samsung service center and after 1.5 month i got a replacement with new 58" tv same model.(i paid extra 35 kd) and again the replaced model also after 10 days having same flickering issue. disappointed with this product. horrible i usually like samsung products

Disable Ambient Light Detection, Power Saving Mode, Motion Lighting, or Contrast Enhancer. Settings > General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection Settings > General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode Settings > General> Eco Solution> Motion Lighting Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer Run Picture Test. When the tested image quality is normal, check the signal of the connected device. Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test I hope this helps. Does Not Last

Bought this TV less than 2 years ago and it has already gone out. When trying to power on the backlight will come on and then it will shut off. It does this repeatedly while plugged in. The visual was good (while it worked) and Alexa did work well with it most of the times. I've read other reviews and seem that other people have had this issue as well. This is my 2nd Samsung TV and they just do not seem to last long at all. Should've stuck with LG.

Best TV we've ever bought.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is well worth every dollar spent. Great for streaming, works great with our gaming set up. There are lots of apps to choose from. The auto update feature is great for all the apps you wish to add on. The feature that we use way more than we thought is the screen mirroring, it's great. With a Samsung phone you just tap it to the TV and it starts working. The free samsung TV channels are more than enough to keep a whole family entertained. Overall it's just a great purchase.
