My husband and I recently bought a king sized ghostbed and cover after much research and reading hundreds of reviews. It came in 24 hours- ship time to us was ridiculously fast, which was great. The packaging was easy to manage and it was cool to watch it expand and fill. We were hopeful it would be as amazing as all the reviews claimed. I suffer from lower back pain so was especially excited since many reviews claimed ghostbed was a lifesaver. I woke up feeling fine after the first night, but as the day went on my back just froze up more and more until I was in a huge amount of pain. It probably took a full week and a half (and several chiropractic appointments) for my body to "adjust". My husband was also waking up stiff and sore every day when he has never had any issues before. We committed to the full 30 day trial and although it got less painful it was still much (MUCH) firmer than we anticipated. We were waking up sore and went from being excited to lay down after a long day to feeling "meh" at best about the prospect of laying down in bed. I was excited to try a medium firm bed and we both thought it was easily the firmest bed we had ever slept on. I was in touch frequently with customer service who were always knowledgeable and friendly. They offered us several options including a topper to make it more comfortable- but I really don't see the point of buying a brand new mattress and then having to use a topper to make it tolerable within the first month of use. They also suggested we keep the bed longer, saying 90 days would be a better frame to judge it and that we could soften the bed up by jumping on it or various alternatives that would speed the process up. Since I could barely walk that first few days jumping on the bed seemed ambitious. After a full month of poor sleep and aching bodies we felt one month was a sufficient test for our house. We ended up returning the bed, and buying a new mattress from a brick and mortar store that we actually laid on- it's wonderful and we love it. Ghostbed's return process was fairly straightforward and easy, though the charity they contacted to set up a pick up for me never contacted me nor returned my calls when I tried several times contacting them. In the end we chose our own charity and hauled it there ourselves. It took the FULL 15 business days for our refund to be processed, which I think is a little ridiculous, but all in all we were pretty happy with the customer service. As a sidenote, I was so sure we were going to love the bed when I purchased it that we bought the cover as well to protect our mattress- I thought the ghostbed cover would be best since they are the makers of the bed. It was poor fitting and overpriced- it was also unreturnable. In hindsight I would have tried the bed first and purchased the cover after deciding to keep it instead of paying that much for a cover that matches a bed we no longer have.

Sorry that this review is late in coming. The Ghost mattress is in my guest room. I slept on it for two nights, then waited until my guest came and slept on it for two weeks before writing this review. I bought the regular mattress, not the deluxe one. For myself as well as for my friend, the Ghost bed was perfect. Not hard at all, but not soft either. It is very supportive in a most comfortable way. I did Get a bamboo topper because of the few reviews that said the Ghost mattress is way too hard. I believe the mattress would be perfectly comfortable and supportive on its own. However, the topper does add a bit of a more opulent feel. Next year I'll have to buy a second Ghost bed for myself. I have lower back issues which the Ghost bed mattress helped for the two nights I tried it out. BTW, if you need more sheets, or even if you don't, get Ghost Bee's sheets. You won't be sorry. Forgot to say that the mattress is on a slatted wooden platform. Perfect!

So, after I did my research on Ghostbed and a few of its competitors, I decided Ghostbed fit what I was looking for at the price range I liked. Me and my girlfriend at the time got a queen size bed for our new place together...A year later, the bed is still fantastic, and lasted longer than our relationship! I had to get a second bed the day I moved out! I already bought two, and would buy again!

So big problem! My husband loves our ghost bed. He immediately loved it, and I was immediately concerned. I laid on my back and noticed the back of my knees felt unsupported. Meh, I'm not a back sleeper so... After sleeping on the ghost bed for a month I don't like it. I sleep in my stomach and I wake up feeling back stiffness and during the night I am constantly awake b\\c my arms go numb b\\c of the way I prop them under my pillow. I'm not exactly sure why this is happening. I'm the one who wanted ghost bed. I felt like I needed a stiffer mattress, but I don't think my body presses into this mattress enough to cradle me. I'm really disappointed, but my husband loves it. Perhaps I'll have to buy a topper of some sort.

Pretty decent bed! We had a queen mattress before that I had got for 300 dollars. Just your basic spring loaded mattress and that bed didn't last long. Before we knew it both our backs where hurting and we weren't getting the full 8 hours . I did some research and since we neither had the time or money to by an expensive mattress from some top of the line company, I thought I'd look online and compare prices. I compared alot of beds but this one seemed to stand out. The company seems pretty trustworthy and willing to work with you if you didn't like the bed . After reading so much about the Ghostbed I finally made the purchase. I even got two free pillows with it as part of a coupon! The packaging was awesome and im a 5'5" young girl and was able to unpackage and handle everything. For the first two weeks the bed felt a little hard to me but I noticed that when you get into your favorite position, the bed begins to conform to you and is VERY comfortable. Sure this isn't some fancy pantsy high end memory foam mattress but it's a worth it buy and has good ratings and reviews. Both me and my husband have finally had a whole month of good sleep since we bought it. No pain in our backs or necks! The bed takes awhile to break in but I feel happy with it and hope it lasts as long as they say. I would say this mattress is awesome for back sleepers and works well with side sleepers. I actually adjusted my position to back sleeping since I got this bed! Good stuff!

So far so good. There were a few bumps in the process of getting the bed, the people at GhostBed were quick to help and get things resolved. The bed is great, the first night was awesome. I did not need any time to get use to the bed. I stayed away from home for several days after using the GhostBed for a week, and the first night back home was amazing, getting back into GhostBed was absolute bliss. The adjustable base will take some time tho, it is difficult for me to justify the cost for something I do not use everyday. In my previous bed I would frequently wake up with pain in my back and shoulders. With the Ghostbed which I have had for about a month these problems have been minimized or eliminated. Sometimes I feel that it slightly warms up, but it is not a problem. There is no odors coming from the bed and it seems to be a perfect blend of softness and firmness.

Purchased the GhostBed Classic king mattress and couldn’t be more satisfied. It’s exactly as advertised. The 6.5 firmness couldn’t be more accurate. The quality of the mattress is high and you can sit on the edge without it collapsing. My first impression when lying on the mattress was it might be a bit on the hard side for my liking but after the first 3 nights I slept more comfortably and sounder than my former plush mattress. The customer service is second to none and if you email them they immediately respond to you. It’s a great value especially if you can buy one during a sales event which is often. All the progressional reviews (Consumer Reports, etc) on this mattress are very good. The negative buyer reviews are baseless because like I said this mattress is as advertised and if you are not satisfied after buying one then you haven’t taken the time read the description of the GhostBed Classic mattress.

I have never been so disappointed. this bed of fluff is a joke if you have a bad back. i ordered two of the mattresses by mistake but they were guaranteed if you don't love them you can return them after 101 days. this is a bate and switch game they run on you but they have the right name ghost cause when it all goes to hell in a handbag they got their money and they are out of here and you are stuck

I was skeptical with the whole mattress in a box concept and wasn’t really sure what to expect; but, WOW is this bed amazing! So comfortable no matter what position you sleep in. I have lower back issues and this bed feels amazing at the end of the day. Super supportive yet amazingly comfortable. I would recommend this without hesitation to ANYONE looking for a reasonable and amazing mattress.
