Gift recipient was very excited to receive this crochet kit. Haven’t seen the results yet, but the excitement was there!

absolutely love this, as someone who has loved the world of harry potter since the first movie came out. it has been a little tricky trying to relearn how to crochet. but definitely worth it!

Love, this is great as a gift, not too beginner friendly as it does have the patterns and shows you what to do if you don’t really know what they’re patterns mean or are just starting it’s a bit difficult, it all turns out super cute though and it’s the perfect kit. Comes with a hook, instructions to make characters and such, eyes, thread and needle, yarn, and stuffing!

Suitable for beginner crocheted. However, supposed to come with enough lt Peach yarn to do 2 characters. There wasn't any such color. I'm having to buy yarn to complete those. That means I haven't been able to do any of the characters.

I love the idea of this kit, but it's so hard to follow the instructions. The yarn is not labeled, and the instructions call for a specific color, but the yarn they give does not have any clear differences. It would also be nice if they added a counter or a pin to hold your starting position for your rows.

The packaging is very deceptive - you'll glance at it and think there's enough in there to make several characters as pictured on the front of the box....there isn't. You can only make Dobby and Harry, and as several others have pointed out there isn't enough yarn for Harry's pants. If you're gifting this to a kid, they'll be disappointed not only by the lack of yarn for all the characters, but by the lack of descriptive instructions. You need to already have a firm grasp on how to crochet (and NOT just the bare basics) in order to handle these instructions. You're better off getting a free tutorial from Youtube for these little characters and then buying the yarn you need just for the ones you want. Skip this.

For $25 you are barely able to make 1 character. They didn’t even give you certain colors to make certain characters. So you can only make Harry or Dobby, but not both. Maybe there is a yarn shortage. You can probably find instructions online and save your money.
