I have sensitive skin, and in the winter my skin gets really dry and itchy. I've used Aveeno for years, but only the fragrance-free lotions. I decided to give the Stress Relief one a try (mainly because of the awesome scents it has) and I put it on right after a bath last night. I'm in love with it already! I love the way it smells, the scent of it is alluring and overpowering, and as time passes the scent starts to fade away, but it's essence is still there! Also, my entire body feels smooth, soft, hydrated, and not itchy at all. I don't know for sure if the stress-relieving properties take place, but I do know that I don't feel stressed at all; I guess I'll find out. I love this lotion!

This new formula is absolutely awful. It smells like highly-synthetic perfume and feels sticky and tacky, like it just sits there on your skin until you wash it off. Aveeno took out the Chamomile and Ylang-Ylang and just ruined the whole product. Will no longer be purchasing the one product that has been a staple of mine for 15 years. I no longer trust Aveeno.

I'm very sensitive to scents and have purchased the Lotion with Lavender, Natural Oatmeal and Chamomile & Ylang-Ylang Essential Oils product for years because I truly liked the smell and it was a wonderful moisturizer leaving the skin soft. However, this new formula and scent are not even close to the old one and I do not find it remotely appealing. I will no longer buy this product. AVEENO, PLEASE RECONSIDER YOUR DECISION. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA OF STRESS RELIEF LOTION, THAT WAS JUST PERFECT. Why to change something that was working so well?

This used to be my favorite body lotion until I ran out and had to purchase the new formula. The smell is horrible and perfume-y, not stress-relieving at all and much too strong. The lotion itself doesn't feel the same either, more greasy and doesn't soak in as well. Once I figured out that the old formula has the light purple cover, whenever I saw it in stores I would buy every bottle they had. Now I can't find it anymore and I'm on my last bottle, so I guess it's time to find a new lotion.

I have used both the stress relief lotion and body wash for years, but have to report that I do not like the new formula’s scent. I’m so disappointed because I loved this product and it was a staple in my routine. Please bring the old formula back if possible.

This lotion scent had become apart of healing for me and the only thing that contains positive memories from a hard time in my life. Just bought TWO WHOLE BOTTLES OF IT only to find they changed the formula and not only is it not nearly as good as it used to be but the smell is not good. Barely lavender at all. Terrible. Can’t believe that it got through test-groups, especially in comparison to the old one. Very very upset.

How much profit and loyal customers does a company need to lose to wake up and bring back an old formula? That is the real question. Like everyone else, this lotion holds great sentimental value to me and used to smell incredible. It was part of my daily ritual for 10+ years and brought me great joy. I got all my friends to use it and with the reformulation we all are actively boycotting purchasing any Aveeno products- not that any of you guys clearly care so it won’t even matter anyways. #bitter I have never gone out of my way to post a negative review but here we are.

I have used Avenno for years. Specifically my favorite was the Stress relief lotion ORIGINAL with chamomile, oat and ylang-ylang. Unfortunately, the new formula feels different, different texture and smell and caused a skin irritation immediately. PLEASE BRING THE OLD FORMULA BACK! I am so sad the company changed something that was so loved by many for years. Unfortunately, I will be returning both the lotion & body wash. Sad face.

I used to love this lotion- especially for the scent. The new look is not just the packaging, it's a completely different lotion. It smells so bad and artificial. The old scent was so well balanced and delicate but the new fragrance is harsh and chemical-like. Even worse, it feels totally different too. It's not as hydrating. I will not be purchasing again.

I had used this lotion for more than a year before the scent of the lotion in the larger bottles changed. The texture of the lotion has changed too, not as rich and moisturizing. The travel sizes are still the original but I’m no longer buying the large bottles, it’s not the same and smells more fake scented and chemical like. In my opinion, this lotion is now more similar to it’s cheaper competitors like Suave.
