I have used this lotion for YEARS, but the formula must have just changed. As soon as I opened up my new bottle and started rubbing some on my hands, I was hit immediately with a terrible, WAY TOO PERFUMEY scent. Awful. It also started stinging my hands, which often happens to me with heavily perfumes lotions. I am so sad. The former scent was incredibly relaxing and natural, and was really soothing to breathe in. Please bring it back. :(

I have purchased this product for decades because I liked the smell. Just opened a new bottle and realized the scent has been changed. No more ylang ylang. If I had known I would have not bought this new bottle. Now I will be either throwing or giving it away, if anyone else even wants it. The new scent is not even close to the old one and I do not find it remotely appealing. I will no longer buy this product, and am disappointed that Aveeno didn’t advertise the “new” formula or “new” scent on the label, so consumers could make an informed decision about buying it.

Have been a faithful Aveeno Calming Stress Relief lavender Lotion user for years. The old formula had chamomile and ylang-ylang and smelled lovely. Used it every night before bed and really helped relax me. This new formula (with the brown lid) no longer has the chamomile and ylang-ylang and the lavender scent is completely different. It smells terrible now!!! I can't express enough how completely disappointed I am that this wonderful product has been ruined for what seems like no reason. Why change??? It was so good beforehand. Please go back to the old formula. I won't be buying anything from this company anymore unless they go back.

This Aveeno Stress Relief moisturizer is always on my nightstand, next to my shower, and by my kitchen sink. It smells great a light lavender scent. It melts seamlessly into the skin leaving no residue at all. Your skin feels hydrated and moisturized for hours. Great Product!

I am so saddened by the complete change in the Stress Relief lotion. No longer smells fresh and soft. Without the ylang ylang and chamomile, along with the other reformulated properties, I will sadly no longer be purchasing this lotion. Which is a shame because I've been using it for at least the past 10 years :(

The original formula with the lavender, chamomile, ylang ylang scent was the best! Perfect for relaxing after a shower on a stressful day. Absorbed nicely, leaving skin very soft and smooth. However, the new formula is not even close. I was very disappointed in the scent change and also noticed the new formula is a setback. It does not absorb nearly as well as before and I really wish Aveeno would bring back the original formula and scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked perfectly, especially since we're always washing our hands because of Covid 19. Left my hands moisturized and soft. The scent isn't overpowering, but I guess if you have a really good sense of smell it can get overpowering? The smell is fine to me. Anyways, great product! Glad I bought it!

I used to love this lotion- especially for the scent. The new look is not just the packaging, it's a completely different lotion. It smells so bad and artificial. The old scent was so well balanced and delicate but the new fragrance is harsh and chemical-like. Even worse, it feels totally different too. It's not as hydrating. I will not be purchasing again.

You all have recently changed the formula. While I think the smell is a bit more lovely, it does not moisturize my skin as well as prior to this formula change. This is kind of devastating for me since I’ve been using that old formula since I was in like the 7th grade

While a bit on the pricey side, this is my go-to lotion. The scent is lovely but not overwhelming. My skin absorbs it well - my tip is to always apply it fresh out of the shower when your skin is still damp! That way your skin absorbs it most effectively. I apply this lotion all over after my nightly shower and it leaves my skin so soft the next day. Highly recommend!
