I have been using this lotion for 4 years and recently noticed that the scent has changed from lavender, chamomile and ylang ylang to just lavender and oat. I loved the original scent because of its calming and not overpoweringly floral smell and the new formula is a bit too earthy with just oat and lavender so I don’t know if I’ll continue to buy. I’m disappointed and sad because I love Aveeno and loved this lotion so much.

I used to LOVE this product. I would buy the biggest size for my mom, aunt, and myself. The smell was amazing but now it has changed to the brown lid the smell isn’t as lovely!!!? What happened to the chamomile and ylang ylang and how can I find the older scent?

I bought this product for my stressed out teenage son absolutely loves it. He goes through a bottle weekly and has seemed a lot less stressed as a result! I just wish they made a complementary product to relieve pain for sore muscles in the shoulder, and forearms...he seems to be experiencing a lot of growing pains recently...Any suggestions?

I've been rationing out my last remaining bit of the old formula with chamomile and ylang ylang because it was the best scent ever. Now it's been replaced with this awful new formula that has none of similar properties of the old one. The new scent is god awful and doesn't lock in any moisture after a shower. I gave it a few shots until I just threw it away. Aveeno really made big mistake

I have used this lotion for many years. It was the only lotion I liked. You had a perfect formula. I continued to sample many new lotions just in case there something as good...there never was - NEVER. When visitors to my home would use the lotion I had in areas of my home to share, they would always ask what it was and loved it as well. I am soooo sad. I purchased one of your new bottles last night and ......OHHHH! What was your company thinking and just who could possibly think this new horrible stuff is marketable?? I smells disgusting!!! Not even remotely like your amazing Stress Relief Lavender Chamomile Moisturing lotion. Not to mention, it doesn't even soak in like it used to - another one of its amazing qualities. I will now have to look for another brand as I am too upset with yours and cannot trust your new testers. ugggggg! I hope you are happy with taking a far superior product and making it - just like a cheap usual crappy lotion.

I recommend this product for those people who have dry skin and want a unique scent that can take away their stress..

I have to weigh in. Aveeno is a trusted brand, with dermatologists recommending their products. “If It Ain’t Broke, Don’t Fix It”. Was actually very surprised to see this change. The new formula is definitely not as good. I was forced to buy the new product, and realized immediately it was different and sub-par to the original formula. Next time I was at the store, their happened to be an old firmula bottle. Way, way superior formula in every way….Just -WHY- would be my question? Shortage of ingredients or just trying to make more $$$$ substituting cheaper ingredients? Sad that a company trusted by physicians would throw a wrench into people’s skin care. Most people using Aveeno -NEED- to use their particular formula, and may be the only thing that keeps them from breaking out, or other medical issues with their skin. Breaks trust with the customers, as I see with the many many comments on the internet about this change. Not a fan of the “new” formula.Seems like a cheap substitute of the old one. “New Coke” didn’t work out for Coca-Cola either…. Google it if you’re too young to remember. I used to trust Aveeno but now not so sure…really disappointing decision to change trusted ingredients to inferior formulas.

The new Aveeno Stress Relief Body Lotion Lavender Scent smells exactly like Johnson’s Baby Bedtime lotion. It seems like the parent company, Johnson & Johnson, cut corners by distributing the same fragrance across two brands. I’m highly disappointed and I will be taking my business elsewhere to a company that is reliable and consistent, which I thought Aveeno was.

I've been buying this lotion for almost 15 years, and the recent formula change is awful. The old scent was calming and comforting, and the new scent is jarring and super artificial smelling. The new formula also feels worse and is no longer the previous creamy lotion, but now feels filmy and more gel like. The formula change was unlabeled, and I would return the bottle if I could. Really sad to see the old lotion go. I definitely will not be buying this ever again.
